Russia and North Korea have signed a mutual defense pact. It is the first one since the Cold War ended.

Without the actual treaty text. It doesn’t exactly sound like a mutual defense pact in the traditional sense. Feels like the Western Media is jumping the gun early.

“The comprehensive partnership agreement signed today provides, among other things, for mutual assistance in the event of aggression against one of the parties to this agreement,” Tass quoted Putin as saying.

In any case, South Korea and Japan fucked around and now they are finding out

“The Russian Federation does not rule out military-technical cooperation with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea in accordance with the document,” Putin added.

Sounds like another lie because they don't want to admit they're very capable of endangering people's lives by buying lower quality parts intentionally. They found loose bolts on at least ten planes not broken or damaged bolts. What was wrong is how they put together the aircraft. If they found lesser quality parts and Boeing knew about them years ago, this is a case of Boeing taking short cuts to save money and not because they were tricked.

This is like buying some "Rolex" on the street in Chinatown and then blaming the Chinese guy for selling you a fake.
The biggest supplier of Titanium to Boeing was Russia. Everything was certified. They decided to scrub those relationships for obvious reasons, and went scrambling. Clearly they either didn't want to waste time and money checking, or were just cheap. This company cited in numerous articles is "an unknown Chinese company". Why choose them unless they were cheap? No one else to blame.
