You know how India keep making fake claims about if China builds a dam in Tibet they will maliciously control the water downstream and other fake news like that. It turns out it was all projection, India always uses upstream dam to threaten and punish its neighbours.

Deadly floods impact hundreds of thousands in Bangladesh and northeast India

Multiple residents told CNN they blame India for the flood. Much of Bangladesh comprises deltas from the Himalayan rivers, the Ganges and the Brahmaputra, which flow from India through Bangladesh towards the sea.

“(Indian Prime Minister Narendra) Modi is totally responsible for this. They always try to harm us,” said Mozammel, a 21-year-old student who declined to give his last name.

Shariful Islam, a 47-year-old resident who has lived in the area for 25 years, said: “This flood came from India, because India opened the dam. If this water goes over, it will flood the whole area and Cumilla city.”
India’s Ministry of External Affairs dismissed the accusations that the flooding was due to the forced opening of a dam on the Gomati River, which flows through Tripura and enters Bangladesh through the district of Comilla. It said the floods had been caused by the “heaviest rains of this year over the last few days.”

“We have seen concerns being expressed in Bangladesh that the current situation of flood in districts on the eastern borders of Bangladesh has been caused by opening of the Dumbur dam upstream of the Gumti River in Tripura. This is factually not correct,” it said in a statement.

However, the statement admitted that “there was a power outage” in Tripura state, which it said led to “problems of communications,” without providing further details.
Indian High Commissioner Pranay Verma has said the release of water into Bangladesh was “automatic,” triggered by the high water levels, according to Shafiqul Alam, press secretary to Bangladesh Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus.

India: I see Bangladesh has heavy rain. Oops, it looks like our upstream dam has a power outage. Oops, it automatically released water which flooded your country.

"In April 2024, the company announced that it is exiting all of its international markets to focus on the Indian market."

This is what happens when you are CEO but you don't have any well established western company to run itself for you so you can claim credit for it. No wonder they have to keep latching onto the west.

He protested against the Chinese Communist Party during the 1989 Tiananmen Square demonstrations, CBS reports.

In about 2002, he managed to defect to Taiwan, and was later granted political asylum in the US, the DOJ said.

I listen thru Kamala Harris nomination speech. She only targeted China in the context as a AI competitor once. Directed the security challenge more towards putin and iran. Threw in kim jong un as the evil dictator troupe. I guess she gave some "face" there rather going all unhinged sinophobe.

It's true that most of the rabidly paranoid anti-China bollix has been coming from the GOP side - Gallagher, Pottinger, Rubio and Cotton. I think a lot of Dems are wary about domestic spillover from such rhetoric, what with all the attacks on Asian-Americans.

Basically, India wants Chinese investors and companies back into the country to steal and shake them down for more money, since they obviously didn’t out the money they previously stole into anything worthwhile, let alone sanitation.

Are there a more odious group of people than the Indian leadership who have proven again and again just how unworthy they are of power?

Needless to say, deliberate acts like this are casus belli, look at Egypt and sudan and their water wars, and how much India complained about China building dams except China never did anything as stupidly despicably evil as this.
