Ahead of the 50% tariffs that are set to be imposed by the US on Indian goods, the country has hired a new lobbying firm to improve its outreach with the Trump administration. The Indian Embassy in Washington, DC has signed a contract with Mercury Public Affairs, a firm headed by former US Senator David Vitter.
