You can thank America for that because they whitewashed Japan's history, prevented the Royal Family from being tried and to finally proved that they are not our allies, stabbed China in the back by preventing China from demanding/recieving reparations from Japan.

I think this is quite clever on South Korea's part. They know that the American plan to contain China has been a complete failure, so instead of going all-in with a fading American strategy, they're looking at alternatives at a time when China is receptive. The other neat part about this is that the main American support to South Korea is that American troops can help defend them in case North Korea attack. However, China is technically North Korea's ally so they can prevent such an attack altogether.
This, on the other hand, is just dumb. The only countries that might be receptive to Japan's message are Taiwan and Philippines, and nobody really cares about the opinions of either of these countries. Hell, I don't think that even the people living in those countries care about their government's opinions. And just about every country that does cares about this subject is going to be just that much more angry at Japan; this being especially true of South Korea. It's just a terrible own goal at a time when Japan needs more friends.
Oh, and I should note that this year, China invited KMT veterans to attend the parade. The DPP has threatened to revoke the pensions of anyone who does this.
Don't you think you have to weaken India and also those other vassals who would likely come back for china once administration change? US alone can't do much to china but with the strong vassals it make it far harder.

It's not important to sabotage India. India is poorly enough run that they'll sabotage themselves. And China doesn't do vassals. This is a strategy that has strengths and disadvantages, but China has been very consistent at maintaining this position so they're not going to change without a damned good reason.
Israel is basically another middle eastern country attacking another. America has been involved in countless middle eastern wars and no one truly cares. Israel has always been hated by many and its not a recent thing. This doesn't actually affect Americans themselves much except for the money the taxpayers send Israel coz its so far away.
India or rather Indians specifically are a different story. Indians who have come to the west have to interact with westerners. You get to see how westerners actually act in regular life and see if they follow their liberal nonsense. And now you are seeing that mask come off rather fast in the contradictions that is liberal values.
