This is just dumb. If you already bought them then you already paid money to Nike/H&M. I thought Chinese are beyond this sort of petty nationalistic showcase but many are still on the level of Indians post Ladakh.
Yes this is actually dumb. Burning H&M or Nike products. Even those guys giving interviews about "H&M's product sucks; their quality sucks. I'm not buying them again!" is just as dumb. This is Jai Hind level stuff. I think that these folks are either not too mature, or are looking for publicity.

They should just get more people to say: "I was a customer of H&M. H&M produces good products. But this time I cannot continue being their customer. I have to make a stand for my country". And please, no need to burn any H&M or Nike products. Would you burn your BMW if you're pissed at Germany? Just a plain old boycott will do. It will do far more damage than any idiotic publicity stunts. China can and should show better maturity than India and other 3rd world countries.

Internationally, this is known as being a responsible member, NOT just a country with a I-hate-everything-you-love-and-love-everything-you-hate grudge against the US. The more a country is in panic of losing to a rival, the more this childish stance is adopted and the US is increasingly of this school of thought against China, often at its own detriment. That's real weakness.
A responsible member? A nice hollow expression. CN can be "a responsible member" without need to help US sanction NK.
Why talk about US being in panic mode, who care.

LOL Make a country a lieutenant? What game do you think you are playing? North Korea can't even take care of it's own ass, and its combat prowess is known among the Chinese to be quite low for how poorly they fought in the Korean War. Then accounting for its antiquated military, the best way that North Korea can help China is to take care of itself. Taking on Japan is an unfairly tall order for them, especially with South Korea at the door.
Yes they are poor with antiquated military because the great power backing them is more interested in playing pointless game with US instead of building them up with a very coherent and pro-active strategy. It is still dubious SK will be active in this war but JP more likely, then a healthy and powerful NK deterring JP help CN focus on US.

Or better yet, just don't be a publicity whore and follow whatever boycott yourself. Don't harass/berate others if they wear those products. This is basic human-decency we are talking about here folks.

Just because you don't understand it doesn't mean that it's hollow. If North Korea is acting in a way that embarrasses China and causes upheaval at its doorstep doesn't mean that China needs to support it just because the US is opposed.

The whole world would feel that China is the lone buttress of a pariah state.

North Korea's weakness dates back far beyond what China is supposed to do for it. They are at the core, incompetent. They are incompetent with diplomacy, incompetent with the economy, and incompetent in general management. The whole country accepts a living person as an unquestionable God! Sinking resources to help incompetent people gets you nowhere because they are an endless pit of failure. The best North Korea can do is to take care of itself.

This is more like it. Interview the more mature Chinese people. Don't glorify those idiots who are burning Nike sneakers, or those saying that "H&M products sucks!"

I noticed that none of them called for their expulsion. Instead many were willing to give them a second chance to clarify/apologize. Chinese people are too compassionate even towards those who hate them.

You are certainly the one defining the meaning of this expression.
Oh, CN is embarrassed because NK test missile. Do US embarrassed when SK or Israel test missile
The whole world would feel that China is the lone buttress of a pariah state.
The "whole world" now think CN is doing genocide in XJ. I'am sure you agree with the "whole world"
Why are you talking about North Korea? Who cares?

And with all that, CN still help US to impose harsh sanctions. They are supposed to build their country with all these sanction. Nice

OK, I've defined it just fine.

No, China is embarrassed that NK is failing at everything, needing aid from the world and being in a general state of squalor. Even so, they continue to spend 25% of their GDP on the military ignoring economic development. That is why they cannot develop into a counter to Japan. They need to get their foundations solid under China's military protection before they embark on building a mighty military supported by those solid foundations in science and economics.
The "whole world" now think CN is doing genocide in XJ. I'am sure you agree with the "whole world"
You're always sure and then wrong LOL. I do not agree. Only 2-3 countries use that tag and they know they are just brainwashing their citizens. The vast majority of Western countries decline the genocide tag and the majority of countries don't even have an opinion. Some countries support China on the matter. The global condemnation of North Korea is much wider.
CN should
Already explained why we don't. They lack the potential that should be there for China to invest effort and resources and you have nothing to counter this except that you think "CN should." You can't do anything with North Korea unless you take out Kim and give them a top-down revamp in China's image.
And with all that, CN still help US to impose sanction.
The US is only one member of a widely-supported international party. Russia didn't veto it either. If China doesn't like what North Korea is doing, China will vote according to its own assessment, not just whatever is opposite of the US. This is an example of China working to its own beat while you are obsessed with revolving around America, ironically the exact thing that you accused China of.
