Most of these businesses manufacture and source many other aspects of their products from China and contribute to Chinese economic gain. The appropriate way to deal with this attack is to acknowledge and teach the fact that lies can have very real consequences. Strategies to combat the information warfare need to be planned and implemented. The Chinese government's responsibility and one they seem ill equipped to do because this is the greatest weakness of China. It has very little means to bring the fight to the enemy and can only weather attacks best they can while doing what it does best, actually develop and maintain progress using the same methods unless they become exhausted too.

China's Foreign Ministry showed reporters a video during a regular press briefing on Friday (26 March 2021) to demonstrate why the so-called Xinjiang Uygur issue is merely a strategic conspiracy by the United States aiming to destabilize China.

The video was of a speech made by Lawrence Wilkerson, chief of staff to former U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell, at the Ron Paul Institute's Washington Conference. In the speech, Wilkerson said that if the CIA wanted to destabilize China, the best way to do that was to cause social unrest and push China from the inside.
