Semiconductors as the reason for reunification is an american disinfo.
Kadena AFB Is 500km east of ZheJiang, do you really want another one but on steroids 200km east of FuJian? Oo
Wait there are people who unironically think China is going to take over Taiwan for their semiconductors? Then why the hell have China been planning it for decades then? Dont they know TSMC being important is only a recent thing? Before that TSMC is just the invention of some mainland a Chinese guy who decided to make his own company coz Texas Instruments wouldn't let a Chinese become CEO.

At this point I realize it's pointless talking with these people. It's not that they're ignorant. It's that they are choosing to be ignorant and wrong on purpose to justify their predjudice. Then what's the point of talking to such people? You fight and you win. Then you never have to listen to these people again for they die unfortunately for beliefs that never made sense in the first place. Much like all the fascists who were so convinced of their superiority only to end up dead and a memory in the hands of "inferior" people.

I have a rule that when western media especially American ones says something about China or a country it doesn't like I'll just assume it's bullshit since such media literally has a conflict of interest. Its not directly on paper owned by the government but its financed by the same people that lobby the government and somehow has government officials connected with it. Actually it's even worse than state media because they have no accountability unlike state media. People are realizing this even amongst the normies so if you think otherwise you are either a glowie or someone beyond saving.

Australia is not a real country, the only identity Australians have per se, is being part of a white Anglo empire. I say this as someone who grew up In Australia. White Anglo chauvinism and antipathy and fear of being “swamped by asians” is a core part of Australian identity which needs to be purged and corrected. And this is despite Australians having a love of Asian foods, things and culture so long as they can own it. In this sense, Australians are the worst of the five eyes because they cling so strongly to white supremacism.
I understand. But even the fear of being swamp by asian or being white supremacists, they rather fear someone next door like Indonesia that having that kind of potential unlike china. Even china in lebensraum mode won't interested in Australia.
A legit right wing Australia would keep china happy while f*ck around with Indonesia instead.

British PM threatens teens with sanctions for refusing national service

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has followed up on his controversial election promise to introduce mandatory national service for UK teenagers with a warning that objectors could face significant restrictions.

The scheme, which would see youngsters volunteer with community groups or join the armed forces, was announced by Sunak last month. He argued that the measure would help revive the “national spirit” and provide “life-changing opportunities for our young people.” National service in the UK, previously introduced during WWI and WWII, was ended in 1960.

Speaking to the BBC on Friday, Sunak was asked about the possible consequences for people who decline to take part in the compulsory activity, which would extend to all 18-year-olds, male and female.

The prime minister suggested that possible sanctions for those avoiding service could include restrictions on access to financial services and driving licenses.

Under the scheme, British youths will be required either to join the military full-time for one year or volunteer one weekend per month at community organizations such as the police or the National Health Service (NHS).

Sunak has insisted that the program would provide young people with “life-changing opportunities” and “real world skills” and would help create a “shared sense of purpose among our young people and a renewed sense of pride in our country.” A pilot version of the program is planned to be launched in September of next year if the Conservatives remain in power, and is expected to cost British taxpayers around £2.5 billion ($3.19 billion) a year.

According to the Daily Mail, the plan to reintroduce national service was drawn up by Sunak and his team in secret. The authors behind the 40-page document have argued that it is necessary to expand the UK’s armed forces in the face of “growing international threats posed by countries such as Russia and China.”

Sunak’s scheme has been heavily criticized by opposition parties.

“This is not a plan – it’s a review which could cost billions and is only needed because the Tories hollowed out the armed forces to their smallest size since Napoleon,” a Labour spokesman stated last month. Other members of the opposition party have accused Sunak of trying to get 18-year-olds to fix the problems that the government has created.
The prime minister suggested that possible sanctions for those avoiding service could include restrictions on access to financial services and driving licenses.

Nothing to worry about. The army will continue to be “voluntary service”1 as it always has.

1 - Failure to volunteer will incur the following penalties
1a - denial of financial services
1b - denial of driver licenses
1c - denial of public services
1d - additional penalties may apply

I personally believe in peaceful reunification. However, it will require strength and time.

Right now China has a numerical disadvantage in stealth jets, nuclear submarines, and even destroyers compared with the USA. Taiwan naturally recognizes this and thus has no hard-power incentive to reunify. Since the mainland has a lower GDP per capita than Taiwan, there is also no soft-power incentive. The wealthy always think they are better than the less wealthy; this is natural human behavior.

In around two decades, China will obtain a 50% or even 2:1 advantage in stealth jets, nuclear submarines, and destroyers over the USA (it will take longer for the nuclear submarines). Living standards will also have substantially converged. At that point, Taiwan will recognize that it is at a military disadvantage and will lose any war.

When that happens, Taiwan will agree to genuine talks for peaceful reunification. Coupled with several strong peaceful military demonstrations, the talks will succeed. Then there will be peaceful reunification.

Why are they your friends? If I spoke to someone like that, it's 90% likely to end up in a fist fight. People who lack all self-respect and side with foreigners over blood relatives don't respond to your kindness because they believe that kindness is weakness and the strong will be a global bully like the US. You've been approaching it wrong, and thus pushing them away. People with that mentality only look for the strongest leg to hold onto; when they see the US economy, technology and military falter against China, that's what will win them over. If there is a conflict and they see the US crawl away with a bloody nose and broken jaw, then China will win them over.

Personally, don't invite them to anything. Tell them you are Chinese and you and your descendents are all dedicated to taking Taiwan island back, making China the strongest country in the world and you don't care how they or the US feels about it. Then let them see your strength; be better than them at work, be stronger at the gym be more accomplished at everything and always proud of yourself and your country. They will be attracted to this type of energy.

I've honestly never met an anti-China Taiwanese person before and I doubt it's because I've really never met one. It's because when I know they are around, I put out that energy that if they say anything bad about China, we will be having big big problems with each other. So they stay silent, they talk softly acknowledging things they like about China, or they just come out and tell me they think like me and support me. Never fear that conflict. I've literally went into a Taiwanese church (for the food, not religion), told everyone that I love China and will return to it, and had people clapping and telling me how well-raised I was for a Chinese person who grew up in the US.

Never let people who hate you win. When China was first unified, many locals hated being conquered... but now, milleniums later, their descendents get to be a part of the most powerful country in the world instead of some weak scattered mess like southeast Asia. In the end, it's about the land. That land belongs to China and the Chinese people. If they hate us, they can fuck off anywhere in the world; go drown in the ocean. But they don't get to squat our land. You don't let tenants who hate you keep your house; you don't give these fuckers a free island. Never reward bad behavior. Reunification or death, their call.
I know them more for than 10 years and when I was in China to study Chinese, they couldn't believe it and keep saying why not studying Mandarin in Taiwan. I've told them, because of simplified characters and I see the future in China. Also that China is huge and I want to visit many places in China. In Taiwan I already have seen Kaohsiung, Taichung and Taipei. At the end I just told them we shouldn't talk about politics.

Wait, are you Chinese? I see your screenname but we have people here called SinoSoldier who is neither Chinese, Pro-China, nor a soldier and we had AirforceBrat who never served in the air force and is like 80 years old so not a brat, so just making sure. It would be pretty weird for them if you were like German telling them they need to reunify with China.

I'm 100% Hakka Chinese born and raised in Germany. I hate Germany to be the lapdog under the US regime and the whole European politics under the most evil person Von der Leyen.
I love my mother country China so much and miss China every day, since I'm back in February this year.

Anti-junta Patriotic Liberation Front claims attack on oil export pipeline on 16 June and warns of more to come if demands not met.

The 1950-kilometre pipeline to Seme port in Benin was built and financed by China in order to provide an export outlet for state-owned China National Petroleum Corporation's oilfields in Niger's Agadem basin.
