Nah, even in the UK there are lots of people (the tabloid) hate their monarchy. Many of them doing so to attract attention therefor money flow. So why would the Americans not doing the same? It is a "free" world that nobody need to be responsible for the eventual consequence, good or bad.

UK has already offered some sort of amnesty so it doesn't matter. Both Canada and Australia have been reluctant to offer any protected status for Hong Kongers. The reason is simple. Over one million Hong Kongers already have foreign passports. Most wealthy and professional elites can migrant if they chose to. For the rest of Hong Kongers, the US, Australia, and Canada simply just don't want them. Many of the youngsters that fled to UK have already asked for helps and handouts.

A lot of people don't understand how brutal the West's propaganda against China is using the Xingjian issue. It's similar to the completely made up story of "Iraq soldiers killed babies by throwing them out of incubators", which was one of the most powerful piece of propaganda in persuading public opinion to support the Iraq War in the West.

Should it be called "the international community now supports China on the Xinjiang issue?" Or at least "the rest of the world now supports China on the Xinjiang issue?"
Or only a few western countries are eligible to represent the international community and counted as the rest of the world?
So should I look forward to the day AmeriKKKa offers protection to african americans, natives, and asians in the country? Nah... lets be realistic here.
