Some poor people hate to see other poor people do well. I suspect this is what's happening here with @Africablack. They are like toxic 'friends' that try to secretly sabotage or talk-down their successful friend. They try to talk about how much the successful person 'owes' them from random small past stuff, or make out new positive changes as bad things.

It's a huge trend in poorer communities / families in the US, where newly affluent folks feel forced to move out of the ghetto and cut ties.

Still begs the question of

1. Who initiated and approved this regime of blocking PRC nationals? How high up does it go?

2. Did the Airshow organisers or even Singapore approve this?

3. Are there actions being taken to punish those involved?

This type of discrimination must be investigated and fought.
It is also not the first time Germans are openly discriminating against Chinese customers. Remember BMW employees giving out ice cream to white people only in CHINA (!!) itself while saying that they don't have any to Chinese people?

I think your opinion of African positions is perhaps restricted to only English speakers or perhaps mostly Nigerians. Months ago you were insistent that a Nigerian led military intervention in Sahel was forming and had popular support. Most of us in the forum correctly interpreted that this was a mostly French project being undertaken under African political/diplomatic cover. The whole enterprise was of course abandoned when neither Africans and French made enough commitments.

Either way, argument on attitudes gives away to material reality. China is not equivalent to an European imperial power because it does not force Africans to give up their resources at gun point, it does not control Africans by holding their central banks and their currencies hostage. To frame China as an African imperial power based on the attitude of either Africans or Chinese is irrelevant.
President Tinubu initiated this because of his interests; he wants to curry favor with the west because they have a thick dossier on him and he doesn't want to encourage would be coup plotters at home. His decision was not popular AT ALL in every part of Nigeria. Northern Nigerians see Nigeriens and Chadians as brothers, in fact they are because they are from the same ethnic groups, Southern Nigerians thought it was ill advised starting a war when there are economic issues to deal with. Tinubu started realizing how unpopular this was and decided to save face by asking the National Assembly (since when does the National Assembly give permission), they shot it down and nothing happened. It had nothing to do with the French, France has zero influence in English speaking Africa. However, they were influencing Cote d'Ivoire, which is why President Ouattara was pushing Tinubu to go in. Personally, I supported the decision because I'm old enough to have lived through military rule and let me tell you something; it's not fun. While I sympathize with my French speaking brothers, I don't want Nigerian soldiers to get any ideas and fling the country back to the dark ages, people who have lived through the turmoil and and instability of military rule will take the worst democratic government, look at how the Turks reacted to the coup in 2016.

I know what China is, I've done business with the Chinese and I've been to China on more than one occasion (gets better every time I go). The Chinese will go to Africa and live with the locals, enter public transport and go to areas many Westerners won't. Westerners will go and live in estates with high fences and only mingle with the upper class. They make no bones about making top dollar doing managerial positions and look down on locals, even if the Chinese do it they don't show it. Where we stay back home we have Chinese living in our neighborhood and we often go get drinks together which is why I'm confused as to some of the arrogant statements about the weak serving the strong.

india is quickly realising its peers are more like Nigeria and Somalia than Chinal They got surpassed by Turks of all ppl.
LoL! Soon, the butthurt Jai Hinds might interview BS Dhanoa, and he is gonna say that the Turks have only created another 4th generation fighter, just like the J-20. But the Tejas and Indian Rafael are 4.5 generation fighters, and thus are superior. He is gonna say that AMCA, when it arrives is gonna be not just a 6th generation fighter, but THE 6th generation fighter, and is gonna blow everyone away. Jai Hind!

Later on, the army of Jai Hind keyboard warriors are gonna go around quoting BS Dhanoa, telling everyone why the Indian Air Force is still ahead of Turkey and China.

Indeed. His title Africablack is quite racist in itself. Africa is not all black, and does not wholly belong to the blacks.

Contrary to Western woke propaganda. Africa is not all filled with innocent, victimised people. Nigeria is among the top scamming centres on this planet. Second only to India.

Just because you are victimized people, doesn't mean that you're entitled special status. People who think like that tend to become just as racist, hateful, and fascistic as the people who abused them. Just look at the Zionists, the Jai Hinds, the Ukrainian nationalists, the South Korean supremacists, and the HK roaches. Look at the woke movement in the US. The BLM and LGBT nutjobs became just as intolerant, forceful, and violent as the people they claimed to be oppressed by.

This Africablack guy is a disturbed individual. He is closet racist, and a possibly even a black African supremacist. I'm not a PC person. So I don't mind considering him as a type of African fascist.
You're the one that's disturbed my dude. My name is Africablack, not Africa is only black. It's the name of a car (Phantom) from my favorite rapper. That's were I got the name. Try harder, weirdo.

If he is Nigerian it makes a lot of sense. They are like the most prideful Africans with aspiration of becoming a superpower. They are also quite overbearing on their neighbors. This is not unlike a certain other country we all know. Their GDP per capita is also similar.

Unlike that country, it is not a nuclear power. Even less reason to respect.
Yeah, no. Nigeria don't care about becoming a super power, it's too busy trying to hold itself together. If anything there's growing secessionism and many want out of the contraption.

Some people get a little money and expect others to kowtow to them, they talk a good game on their way up but then behave like the monster they deride. I suspect that's what's happening here with @luminary. They are like toxic 'friends' that say what you want to hear but then once they see a little growth they flip. Then try to talk about how others who they look down on should kowtow to them and make out like they are the sun for which everything rotates around.

This is easy.

You don't represent China, you're a disgrace for your arrogance and while we will respect China NOBODY is going to kowtow to China. Sit down and stay humble young man.

Why do have to repeat the same childish sentence twice? You really are disturbed, and a moron too. LoL!
