The cost of farm inputs has risen faster. Try making fertilizer and pesticides without natural gas. Try running farm machines without diesel. At the same time the EU basically dropped its trade barriers to imported Ukrainian produce. So whoever competes with Ukraine is pretty much screwed. This whole EU policy is pretty idiotic. One of the pillars of the EU was its farm policy. The EU is supposed to be self-reliant in terms of food production, not import its food from a foreign warzone.

Its amazing how some of those 4chan conspiracies turned out to have truth in it and nobody really cares.

Meanwhile all the nonsense spewed by the mainstream media is considered truthful and not a conspiracy. What a clown world we live in today/
