Once again proves non-interference policy is a mistake.Pakistan under the current military regime is dangerous and unpredictable. Pakistan unlike Iran is in the business of appeasement. Iran has a very clear stance with regards to US policies etc. The Pakistani decsionmakers are only interested in running their economy through IMF loans. The Pakistani generals have business interests in the US. Most of these generals retire in Western capitals. In other words, the generals are in the business of keeping all sides happy irrespective of making the right choice. We have witnessed that the Pakistani generals are willing to overthrow a chosen leader at the orders of the Americans. That is dangerous.
China is historically a great ally of Pakistan. The vast majority of Pakistanis both abroad and in Pakistan trust China blindly. Simply because China has withstood testing times. What I fear are the current crop of duplicitous Pakistani generals. China needs to calculate every step with regards to Pakistan. I understand that China won't agitate and Interfere. China isn't the US. Nevertheless, China should keep a close eye on the decsionmakers in Pakistan. These so-called leaders are untrustworthy.
Pakistan is headed for turbulent times in the near future. Probably elections will be held early next year after Imran Khan is eliminated. What happens after this is anyone's guess.
