US Oligarchs are only whining now because they realise the US will be in the smaller of the blocs, effectively turning themselves into north korea. They weren't complaining when the trade war was in full swing.
Fake Green Party got what it deserved for putting the US and Ukraine above the interests of German.

About time, the Greens are a death cult either via devolving into the palaeolithic or American hegemony.

Since the turkish election is contested and people seem to be getting angry over it, this might bring some levity to the election topic:

People always have a favored side to win, but everyone please remember to try and stay analytical when arguing about the other side or positions. Getting angry at others doesn't help you win those opponents over, and it drives away ambivalent observers who might have been swayed.

I think their focus is on LGBTQ, gender equality, handouts, farmers' loan forgiveness, and weakening the military and monarchy. However, Thaksin and his sister have paid many visits to China even after they got ousted. What probably should be worried is the Harvard graduated Move Forward Party that was incarnation of Future Forward Party. That Harvard guy is a worry and might cause some troubles.

In the end of the day, China has a lot of leverages against Thailand. If new Thailand leader wanted to spoil the party then Thailand would suffer. Both high speed railway and BRICS are more beneficial to Thailand than China. China is not in a hurry to expand the high speed railway as Thailand even under the Military Junta has been dragging their feet in building the railway until Laos' high speed railway demonstrated the benefits. As for BRICS, there are many candidates that are applying so it isn't like China is the one doing the asking.

It all comes down to marketing. Whomever that has superior marketing usually wins. The US is a master of self promotion and marketing. Whether it's via government or private entities the message is loud and clear..
China OTOH needs to ramp up their PR department if it intend to counter US influence globally. There is simply no other way around it.
Imagined if you want to sell a book. You do it on your store front which may get 25 foot traffic on a good day.
Your competitor sells his online in all the major retailers, Amazon, Ebay, Alibaba etc.. and aggressively advertise on all SM sites.
Who do you think is going to sell more books?

And do you know what happens to the overwhelming majority of companies that blows too much of their budget on marketing and don’t spend enough on the actual product to make it better and worth having in the first place?

Sure, good marketing can get you sales, to start with. But unless your product is actually worth buying, your customers will get buyers remorse almost immediately.

While the US has a bit of an advantage in that there is no consumer protection in elections against false advertising and cooling off period to get your money back after being mis-sold a total lemon, such fuckfoolery does tend to build one a toxic reputation that no amount of marketing can undo. So all its winning candidates are one-hit wonders with no staying power and the local populous will be much more on guard the next time around. All that means the US has to spend far more on advertising or even mafia style dirty tricks to have any chance of winning the next time around. It’s all one giant slippery slope and escalating feedback loop until you are spending all your budget and time just fire fighting all the bad press you are getting from disgruntled customers.

Do you know what kind of business spends all its budget marketing a worthless product that no one really wants and can only ‘compete’ by paying for fake reviews to slander its competitors and deleting bad reviews of itself?

Thaksin and his party are not issues. They know how to play the game. I trust them to be smart enough to maintain balanced relationship for US and China.

Move Forward Party are entirely difference, these guys are openly support HK protest back in 2019, have close contact with NED funding NGOS and even go as far as declare to choose side in current geopolitics conflict.

They also the one to ramping up anti-china movement in Thai social media. Now most of our young generation are look down on Chinese even downright hate them.

It's interesting how Thailand of all countries think they can look down on China.

Lower GDP per capita, weak military, not a single world renowned industry or product besides an infamous one...

I assure you, Chinese aren't exactly heartbroken or even angry if Thais are hostile. More like amused and curious.

A Shitcoin.

A bit of historical perspective from a Chinese migrant labourer of the 1840s; how times change, how the wheel turns...

If Indians of all people can assume false superiority over Chinese, is it far fetched to see the same from the Thais and filipinos who aspire only to become 'LBFM' of the white anglo, so as to escape the crushing poverty which was caused by white anglo led austerity and the white anglo led financial system.

I think it is all fake.

Isn't 10% of Thailand's population ethnic Chinese?

And is it like 25% of the Thai population has Chinese blood in them, as Rodrigo Duterte once said he had Chinese blood as his grandfather was a Chinese.

Seriously doubt there is some sort of pure-Thai-Nazi type of party or movement in the Land of Smiles.

These CIA plots are becoming like silly jokes.

Sadly, the reality is that the whole new generation of youngsters except Muslim and China are brainwashed by NGOs. Military junta has spent too much of their resources to contain Thaksin but without seeing another more lethal threat that is on the horizon.

It is obvious that Move Forward Party meteoric rise to the top is supported by the US. LGBTQ and gender equality platform is anything but Asia. We have witnessed this from South Koreans that usually pragmatic people but now dominated by youngsters that outpouring their supports of HK riots.

US has used its chips and made the Philippines and South Korea to openly oppose China. Thailand is just another target that is vulnerable to manipulation.

In the end of the day, Move Forward Party is unlikely to act in Thailand's interests or being pragmatic. It is depending upon if it would dominate in the new alliance or not. More importantly, I wouldn't be surprised if Move Forward Party's radical policies would reignite another Yellows vs Reds confrontation. Going forward, Thailand would be in turbulent time as both domestic and foreign policies would make radical departure from tradition and ensure chaos.

Intellectual slaves!

We can say that about some politicians in this world too!

That is why I suspect the term intellectual slave fell out of favour.

Although it is too true, it could incendiary.

Git one ass arrested or sentenced.
