Germany should create their own Social network application to avoid US propoganda. Twitter honestly not a good idea for long use. US&UK has twitter, facebook, instagram, discord, whatsapp, viber... China has tiktok, weibo, wechat, qq, tieba... So what is Germany native instant messaging softwre?
Germany is just gone, no hope of that happening, they paradoxically the most arrogant country, go to any opinion poll and you'll find that Germans don't like anyone except themselves, yet at the same time cares the least for maintaining its own culture/independent anything.

Europeans, especially the Germans are totally subsumed under Anglo media sphere, with the only the faintest barrier in the form of different language, that only applies to older folks.

Quoting a few sentences from the news article:
But Italian officials say Meloni’s government would ideally like to find a way to extricate itself from the BRI — without provoking Beijing’s wrath, or being subjected to punishing retaliation.
“We want to maintain good relations with them and work to avoid problems escalating,” said one official, adding that Rome did not wish to “antagonise” China.
“Given the state of relations between the US and China, we cannot remain an ally of the US and at the same time remain in the BRI,” said Stefano Stefanini, Italy’s former ambassador to Nato. “We have to try to negotiate a peaceful — or [the] least damaging possible — exit with the Chinese.”

Don't worry, Meloni.

For the sake of Italy's long-standing friendship with China spanning the last several decades, Beijing may very well consider accepting Rome's request for an easier way out.

But first, kindly allow PLAAF Y-20s to fly over Rome and airdrop a number of crates filled with these as a token of appreciation for Italy's withdrawal from the BRI:

I have an unpopular opinion that civilian aviation didn't change the world that much. Yes, tourism as it exists today wouldn't be possible without aviation but is that really essential? The air transport industry almost completely relies on tourists and operates on very small profit margins. Everything else makes a small percentage of revenues. This is why it needs subsidies to survive during every single economic disruption including small ones. Pleasure spending is the first thing people decrease and that directly hit airlines since they depend on that.

Coming to Arabs, I can see why they are after developing tourism, financial industry, import-export businesses and some manufacturing. The Gulf and SA have been utterly dependent on very cheap South Asian labor and oil profits. Prospects for both of these look dim beyond 2040. 10 years ago people were talking about how the Gulf will return back to Monke after oil runs out or becomes unimportant. Good for them they started diversifying early.

BTW labor part is why they are giving more rights to women nowadays. They plan to partially replace South Asian labor with their own women who they haven't been utilizing until now.
Tourism is important because it employs a ton of people at decent wages, especially in places that tend to be underdeveloped. Also, being in-person makes doing business much easier, so easy travel helps economic development in multiple ways. Even if the aviation industry itself is break even, it has significant positive externalities for the rest of society.

Taiwan has become the new "white man's burden".
BTW, here is a diagram illustrating Elbridge Colby's sophisticated analysis of China-Taiwan relationship above.

So much for the shining beacon on the hill:

Asian policymakers can think for themselves.

This white mans burden might end up breaking someone’s back. I wonder if this will be the moment that this someone is going to go down crying like a hysterical p$ssy

How should the Jai Hinds of the Czech and Baltics chihuahuas be refered as?
This maybe something for the WoT players here, so I know a lithuanian WoT player who bought gold only to buy his nations flag and plaster it on each tank he owns, he basically spent 40€ (~42$) worth money for a virtual flag for a virtual tank, while earning less than 1000€ ( a month ....

And of course he has dismal winrate and overall stats.

That is the level of stupidity we are dealing when dealing with the baltics.

It's soooo over for our decrepit, rotting country. These geniuses wanna play Global Britain when this country imports global filth from all over the world, even ends up making one a PM and the other, the Home Minister.

Aviation did change the world. just look at international students. it created that human interaction on scale that made it very easy to know different cultures not just one off samples.

Tourism is limited to countries like Turkey who are unable to properly manage its money /human resources and are now reduced to low skills tourist work. This aviation Industry has influenced alot of things not easy to observe and feel. You have to put that trust on those for things they havent done in that scope.

This contract will be executed in the next 5 years and is the largest contract ever competed worldwide as a full solution. The project has been strongly competed through an international competition for several years.

The local/ German consortium of Al-Rashid Trading & Contracting Company and the European Aeronautic Defence & Space Company (Eads) has received official confirmation from Saudi Arabia’s Interior Ministry on the award for the second phase of the kingdom’s border security fence project.

Arabs sovereign wealth funds are some of the oldest. did you miss app firms like Telegram. so well functioning Aviation industry with global connectivity critical for bringing teams together. This Aviation industry gave Arabs very strategic outlook of this world. as they can observe the changes in people and environment. You have to thank Arabs that RT Arabic provide more accurate picture of the aviation in Ukraine. as Arab expect accuracy in there own language. Everything revolves around Aviation. Culture, Museums, Sports etc.
