There are concrete actions by Apple and Foxconn to move production outside of China. I don't care about Josh Hawley, or what Foxconn say. There is a general effort by some of the big Western firms to move production out of China into other 'democracies'. Whether it will be successful or not. That is why I wrote all those things for.

Listening to the Western media, it makes perfect sense for the some of the big Western firms to transfer production from China to India. And I do see some tangible actions, although it is still early stages. Eventually something will happen, and we have to prepare to accept that. But we should not be too upset, because it is not necessarily a negative thing for China.
I’m sure Tim Cook, being a smart guy, is not bringing iPhone production to India because of some idealistic belief in democracy.

At some point, India should reach a level of development at least on par with where China is now. As you said, it can be a good thing for China, developing a market for industrial goods.

Western companies are not stupid, many more have already left, rather than come in. The media’s stories are one thing, but companies deal with the reality. The labour pool is big, but undertrained, who is paying for this? That is why they want those subsidies. Then when the rug is pulled up from under them, they just cut and run. However, that doesn’t stop companies from wanting to be to India, what Apple is to China (including Apple itself).

Hmmm I guess Europe choose death huh. Really suicidal action after suicidal action, that will not be satisfied until the horde (global south) comes comes and demolishes the alliance (collective west) and then the alliance will cry about horde bias like in WOW only that this time, the alliance has completely earned the ass kicking they totally asked for. Really just how many stupid actions must they make until everything falls apart, all these leaders in the EU and the US ought to be lined up and shot because they simply don’t know when to stop crossing red lines. They should realise that the world will continue to exist long after the collapse of the west, they should know that just because they held held the advantage for a little over a century or two doesn’t mean they have the God given right to hold it forever, especially since the collective west seem to have lost its marbles completely
After reading your comments over a period of time I think you are suggesting that the EU and US are going to experience something akin to a total collapse. Despite large setbacks, I do not think that is going to happen.

Beijing wants to be friends again.
China’s Foreign Ministry is rolling out a red carpet for U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s visit in early February.
“Xi wants the American boot off his neck — he can't stomach any more tech containment or more sanctions and recognizes that a lot of [Beijing’s] foreign diplomacy has backfired and he wants to lower the temperature.”
China is in desperate need of an international image overhaul. Pew Research Center survey results released in September revealed that 82 percent of Americans in 2022 had “an unfavorable opinion of China,” an increase from 76 percent the previous year.
But Wang faces an uphill struggle in convincing Europe of a shift in China’s diplomatic settings. The EU is angered by Xi’s close relationship with Moscow despite Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.

Total collapse mostly likely not to a mad max level, but a severe drop in living standards that the mainstream media is going to have a very hard time papering over with the kind of ease they have now, quite possibly. I might have given the impression that I see a literally destruction of a nation in a manner similar to all those apocalyptic movies but no, I should be clear to say that it wouldn’t happen that easily in Europe but then again, a change in leadership will be required. But however for the USA, this is a real possibility if the government completely fails to address its issues over a period of the next few years. Given the current crop of leaders and the deep state running things downwards, I have my doubts they could pull back from the edge of the cliff but then again if I am wrong, then I am wrong
