It's obvious. It's all about money not about saving the environment. Notice? Not one mention about China when it's all about China. Biden was part of the Obama Adminstration who ran for President on being the Green President. Nothing could be further from the truth when Obama became the opposite killing any green international initiative from his first year in office because he realized the US wasn't going to be making all the money from green technology. China was because theirs was more efficient for the cost.

Want the world to save the planet. Want the world to buy affordable green technology. They need China to do it. But again it has nothing to do with saving the environment. It has to do with who's making the money. Unfortunately for anyone who allies with the US... it means serving US interests first. The world is shrinking for the US meaning they don't have the monopoly on the world economy like they use to. The reason why the US is forming all these economic alliances against China has also nothing to do with China. It's about controlling members so they don't do business with China or anyone else the US doesn't like so the US can make all the money from their allies not China. And don't forget that US's European allies hammered Bush for not caring about the environment but when Obama stopped anything to do with the environment for the same amount of time Bush was President, they didn't say a word.

At least Bush at Kyoto actually hammered an international agreement on the environment. It died when US domestic politics didn't ratify it. Obama didn't want that same stain on his legacy so he framed China for any failure thus China dissed him for sending a low-level official to meet with him and because his ego was hurt he's the one that put the world in this path that you see all the results plaguing the West today.

Germany's Minister of Defense Christine Lambrecht resigned from office on Monday following persistent criticism. Germany's next defense minister has not officially been named yet. According to local media, the refilling of the post could lead to a major reshuffle in the German government in order to maintain the gender balance that Chancellor Olaf Scholz has promised to uphold. The chairwoman of the Bundestag's Defense Committee, Marie-Agnes I of the liberal Free Democratic Party (FDP) is among the potential candidates to succeed Lambrecht.

Lambrecht was from SPD so I assume her replacement will come from there.

Bloody ingrate; China saved his presidency by agreeing to bailout the US economy after the shit sandwich of the GFC. I doubt future Chinese leaders will be as generous in the future.

I know an easy way to save the planet, the easiest yet most evil one and yet the most American if you think about it, let the EU and USA collapse into societal braking chaos and let that whole Degeal nation depopulation plan take hold and point the finger at Bull G@tes, that way when those places are sufficiently depopulated due to this NWO nonsense, the amount of energy required to power those places will drop significantly and China will be able to save the planet much more easily and efficiently when much of the complainers are gone for good. I mean the west had the means to save the world and they blew in the name of greed, why not let someone else do the job while the failures get thrown into a ditch because let’s be honest, the USA are the ones killing planet with its lies, it’s high time the nation suffers the consequences and actuality for one, suffer so much that they finally take the hint because they are collectively too stupid to live anyway

Someone explain to me what is Turkey's endgame here because I'm having a hard time figuring out why they're pissing off their allies in Nato. Are they not receiving enough concessions? Is there a reason why they chose the S-400 system over F35 that their pilots were still training for? If they're trying to pivot to the east like Saudi did, they're certainly not making any friends harbouring all those Uyghurs in exile.

Aside from getting the best of both Worlds, it may have to do with the attempted coup against Erdogan back in 2016 (IF you believe in that narrative).

Well while Turkiye is a part of NATO, they are not part of the EU while the EU making statements about making Ukraine a part of NATO and the EU and also given how Turkiye has a big issue with regards to the Kurds hiding in Sweden and they are going to be part of NATO, I guess Turkiye is not that happy about that. Also, the reason they choose the S-400 system as opposed to the F35 is due to a little know fact that the jets can only be used when given the go ahead by the USA, otherwise they planes won't function due to a keycode, not to mention as well that a lot of the parts needed for the f-35 comes from China so basically any repairs might be difficult to source when the USA already has a great deal of difficulties getting the parts themselves. And the last issue is in regards to Syria with the Kurds where the Turkish don't really like the US presence there basically propping the Kurds up while stealing Syrian oil as well as basically being a guest that has long over stayed its welcome.

Hence for Turkey to side more and more with Russia makes sense given the current crisis in Europe actually weakening the EU and NATO (they need the cheap oil and gas to basically function and without those, their future is going to be in the toilet in a few years if not earlier), why not have there eggs in a few baskets to exploit the situation as much as possible and given how stupid Greece has been to Russia last year when the Greeks used to have a good relationship with Russia before had, why wouldn't Turkiye exploit the situation to get basically kick Greece when they are down with Russia's support no longer holding Turkiye back from basically invading the island around Greece. Its makes complete sense in that regard.

The USA used to have a very strong grip on Turkiye as that nation is a crucial nation to have in NATO against Russia and the USA knows it but since the USA has Bolton (that stupid motherfu*ker who quite frankly should have his head lopped off) is trying to pull a regime change against Turkiye with the US government support, now the USA has a an even bigger problem in that given Turkiyes influence in the middle east, the middle east now as an even bigger incentive to dedollarise and stick it to the USA for trying to put their foot down on them one time too many

One more thing to add is that Kashoggi was killed on Turkish soil in a Saudi Embassy there so that might be another reason why the USA may have a beef with Turkey, as short sighted it is on a geo-pollical point of view but then again, the USA isn't really acting logically for some time now so anything is possible
