Yes, I know that the quoted article in the Tweet is from the infamous Hindustan Times, but the person who quoted it (an Indian national) has a pretty pro-China stance (which I really recommend to follow on Twitter). The Hindustan article itself is also rather neutral on this reporting:

Honestly, when one sees the Chinese government and the Chinese communities taking proactive measures like this in order to properly address the elderly portion of the Chinese populace, and compare those with the West (and especially the United States) where the government would rather be busy about "containing Red China" than actually addressing local problems, and communities with people would proudly boast on the Internet that they would rather leave their elderly and ill to die from COVID-19 as a way of "natural selection" and "reducing burden" - One couldn't help but ask:

Whose governments and whose communities actually take good care of their citizens?

Whose governments and whose communities actually put the needs of their own people in front?

Whose governments and whose communities actually value and practice basic human rights in their own populace?

And, most importantly - Whose governments and whose communities are really more human and more humane?
