It is a reaction. China does not want to escalate tension unnecessarily. China is still wanting to work with the US. 合则两利 is what China says for the time being.

The US obviously is taking advantage of and abusing China's self-restraint.

But China's patience might have been wearing thin.

Escalation now is risky and CN know it, so they can't. CN wanting to work with US because they don't have choice. Not doing US a favor

Turkey ran out of resources and accept million of people. that ultimately made it import depended economy. At this rate Turkey alone will need all the grain Russia produce. Turkey currency never recovered from that dabacle.
I dont think German fully understand that this will be permanent end to its post war prosperity and there is no India to help it in digital age. European prosperity is the glue that is holding together the continent.

This is the kind of wishful thinking in a false logical straight line starting with some dubious assumptions as presumed truth.
What we are seeing so far is Act 1 Scene 1 in one long Russian play. Counting out Putin and Russia so early in the game is favoring idiocy over intellect.

It's ridiculous if the collective west thinks they can bury Russian nationalism behind the wall of their manufactured values and sanctions for good. This is not the end of history, nor the end of Russian nationalism, nor Putin, not by a long shot. If any pools have any resemblance of reality, there are at least 50 millions Russians, even after giving a wide margin of errors against their favor, who are solidly behind this preemptive strike against a dire direct threat to Russian state. When west's interests are spread out all across unstable regions all over the world, the medium to longer term effects of next Russian moves would certainly come back to bite in the west's fat plump derriere. How much and how long can the west manage to hold hungry and angry populace in the north Africa and Mid East peaceful and docile? You see where it is going? That's just one strand.

This visit is just like a boy cursing, it has no materialistic impact.:rolleyes:

In the mean time of "wanting" (as you said) to work with US, China will keep buying more Russian and Iranian products.
