I think we expect the new SK regime will now pivot harder to US. We also know from what China been saying all this time, they want good relations with SK. Even saying kind words during winter Olympics to put out the fire of anti Chinese feelings caused by competition in the short track skating events. i thought that was quite unusual. Now China probably realize it's gonna be tough.
Even though the sino sk relationship is going to be rocky as SK goes more into US orbit, I doubt it will matter much overall to China. S Korea hard power is limited. As others said, economy is quite integrated with china's. If they really want to go against China, it will hurt them too. Their society now is also deeply divided as seen by close result. domestic issues like housing, equality, LBGT have become hot button issues. I dun think China is a main issue at all for them. There is no need I think for China to fundamentally change their approach. Continue to strengthen relations with Russia without calling it a formal alliance and secure that. The rest will fall into place
The Lee candidate lost by 0.6%! Why didn't he ask for a recount? Do they not do recounts in Korea? Make me wonder if the US rigged the election. If it was the other way around, and the US preferred candidate lost, the US probably would have declared the election rigged and refuse to recognize the new president. Then started plotting a color revolution.

Supposedly recruiting overseas talent is illegal and bad when you are from the PRC.
I liked it how they claimed the Chinese were poaching Taiwanese talent. When it was a Chinese EDA software company poaching electrical engineers who worked on semiconductor fabrication. If you believe the article. Bonkers.

Heard a rumour that 4 (Yes, 4!) Su-57 were spotted flying in a formation over Zhitomir.
Apparently this is the buzz on Russian social media
Seems kind of weird to see them operate that far from the main area of operations. But who knows.

@MortyandRick bro that is the strategy a close election, a pretext for a Colored Revolution, in our case the Philippine, the lead of BBM and SD is so huge, they need a Plan from A to Z. My prediction they will go with Plan π which is to stack the senate with Pro American senators and like what happen to Julius Caesar stab him at the back with impeachment.

The US expecting China to do to Russia what the US is trying to do to China for no invasion. In other words the West sanctions alone aren't working.

Western sanctions are ineffective because they no longer have a monopoly as China can provide alternatives in capital, market and technology.
