Another clueless idiot, has no idea how big the Chinese market is. For example, China has by far the world's largest auto market and it is Germany's number one auto market in the world.

No doubt most Americans are brain-washed idiots. Most of them probably cannot point out Ukraine on a map. A lot of them live paycheck to paycheck. Yet majority of them does not mind gas price going through the roof and the serious danger they will be facing if their country confronts a nuclear power directly?

Israel blowing up Iraqi and Iranian nuclear installations was OK?
Literally 70% of the brands from the pic of our (义愤填膺) expert here are either not in China or out right banned in China, and the rest being remaining might prove to be “better sanction" to the domestic brands than them leaving the market, for the like such as the high end luxury automobile brand, which most likely will not give up such large portion of their profits. China has already been painted as ethnic cleansing, people slaughtering, dystopian loving, social crediting and evil doing Asian reich in the so called "World Community" which consists of the majority of the developed nation with their "High End" brands monopoly, and woke ideology. if such sanction would work, what make him think such drastic measure has not been done yet ? the only threat I see from this list is from the likes of Intel but that card has been played by the US a long time ago.

The only ones that matter in that group is the chip manufacturers... hopefully China will have a competitive domestic line by the 2030s if not sooner.

The cruelty of Anglo-Empire 2.0 towards Ukraine is striking.

The State Department knew perfectly well that Ukraine was divided into two camps, and that is precisely why it provoked a civil war. "Ukraine" means "border", "borderlands", and one part is Polish-Ukrainian and another part is Russian-Ukrainian.

They filled their heads with promises, lies and fantasies, to use them as pawns and cannon fodder. As if impoverished Ukraine could magically become Denmark or Norway as long as they hated the Russians a lot, killed Russians on the Don, and were very obedient to the Master in Washington.

neutral Ukraine was beneficial for all: beneficial for Ukrainians, for Russians and for Western Europeans. The only losers were the fanatics in London and Washington.

From the kidnapping of the big tech boss's daughter to the war in Ukraine ... it seems mark the beginning of the endgame:

military empire (-2049)
commercial civilisation (2049-)

Remember all the folks that kept saying that if only China / CGTN/ etc was more like RT and did PR better than Russia?
The West sanctioned RT precisely because they were quite effective. RT gave a platform for dissenting voices in the West to speak out, not just those aligned with Russian interests, and that is why they had to be shut down. Other Western news platforms typically regurgitate AP/Reuters/AFP news bulletins which is why I for the most part just ignore them and directly read the news bulletins.

Well at the end of the day it was all for nothing without having control of the platforms and infrastructure.... It doesn't matter how good PR China gets on the likes of Twitter or Youtube or even anything ending in a .com website, when the time comes all the US has to do is axe all of it in one single moment (plus get Apple/Google to delist all the apps etc and AWS/Azure/Oracle to delete all the servers and databases)
They claimed the Russians were idiots for testing the disconnection of Russia from the rest of the Internet a couple years back to see if it .RU would hold out. That it was preparation for Russia putting their own version of Great Firewall up. Guess what happened just yesterday.

The Russians remember how the US disconnected Syria from the Internet.

Next for Russia is to adopt new alternative platforms to Facebook, YouTube, and Google. The Russian people will go through a painful withdrawal period due to the sudden ban, but it'll be necessary. In the longer term, they'll have healthier minds.
Facebook has a pitifully small share in Russia where VKontakte is much more popular.
Yandex is also more popular there than Google is.
YouTube is popular in Russia but there are alternative services to that too.

Russia and China needs to create new alternative platforms that cater to the English-speaking audience. They really need an alternative to the mainstream Western platforms. Its not impossible, Tim Tok was a great example.
If they get popular they will likely get blocked. But yes I think this needs to happen since like it or not English is the most widely spoken language in the world today and ignoring that is self-defeating.

Good opinion piece, some interesting quotes:
You would never know it from the wall-to-wall coverage in the Western media, but more than a third of humanity has not picked sides in the current European conflict.

Even Israel, as staunch an American ally as there is, has struck a middle ground, criticizing the invasion and stressing the strong ties Israel has with both Russia and Ukraine. Likewise, Latin American superpower Brazil also struck a neutral position, refusing to condemn the invasion outright and calling for a peaceful solution. The Association of Southeast Asian Nations struck a similar note in a delayed statement on February 26 expressing concern over the conflict but likewise stopping short of condemning Russia.
For many Western strategic thinkers, the defense of Ukraine is a last gasp at preserving the old world order, carved out by the U.S. and European powers at the end of the Second World War: a Eurocentric world order which marginalized the entirety of the developing world.

Today, countries such as India and China are already looking to shape a new world order which recognizes the primacy of Asia in 21st century economic and geopolitical realities. The battle for Ukraine may indeed be the last battle of the 20th century.

Rupa actually has a lot of decent neutral articles about India, China, and Asia.
