This kind of military assistance/intervention is a "dirty"(thankless) job, where whatever you do, you will inevitably create enemies. Plus Kazakhstan is primarily in Russia's influence sphere.

Let Russia do this dirty job. China can sit back and eat melons (100% certain that Russia will sort this out).

The arrangement in Central Asia suits China fine. Russia pays for security while China enjoys trade paid by Russia which ensures security. Same with the US who has bases around the world ensuring stability which allows China to exploit this peace and become a superpower lol

There is nothing worse than military intervention (for whatever reason). You will 100% create enemies. In this case, Russia will be seen by the people (not seeing the bigger picture) as a protector for a corrupt government. Bad reputation
I know that, and I am not suggesting the PAP actually gets sent in. I am thinking China can capitalise on all the hard work the western MSM have been putting in over the decades to paint the PLA as merciless terror troops who loves brutally putting down protests to try to scare some sense into the rioters so no one need to send on troops.

If the bluff doesn’t work the Kazakhstan government can always graciously decline the offer later, before any Chinese boots need to be deployed.

Why has the Army and the internal security of this country fell so quickly and are seemingly overwhelmed from the "peaceful protesters."

The protesters seems to be anywhere and everywhere able to sow confusion and paralysis to the government apparatus. From outside looking in the protesters look more organized and well coordinated with their decentralized attacks which confuses the government forces to pinpoint the center of organizational gravity of this fast moving debacle.

If the progress the protesters are making isn't stopped they will not only be galvanized, emboldened but also will likely make the situation on the ground even more violent and deadly for the country and people the movement claims to fight and love.

Where was the internal security intelligence apparatus in this country? Were they asleep? Or much of the leadership has been co-opted and paid for by Western intelligence. I mean if my tinfoil hat conspiracy is the case then it doesn't bode well for Russia's FSB and other counter intelligence agencies that supposed to protect her own periphery.

WTF did I just read... Someone tell me this is not true. I hugely disapprove of this if true.

What is even the relation between Marxism and medicine, lol? Sounds like useless talkology shit like "Liberal Arts" in the Western unis.

Lol, at first you need to know what the heck Marxism is. In simple words, Marxism is not economics. Marx did not invent any form of economics btw. He made a deep analysis of Capitalism and it's falses and contradictions.

Marxism is a branch of philosophy, called Dialectical Materialism, invented by Marx and his fella Engels. It's a way of examining the reality. The approach to reality.

So you can have a Marxist point of view at any kind of science.

In this specific situation i will make a guess and say a Marxist view about medicine is about the whole industry of health, stop being just another bussiness for profit and be true Anthropocentric, as it have to be. The bussiness approach of health at covid response is a bold example. In most countries of the world led to many unessecary deaths due to lack of jabs, doctors, drugs, overwhelmed facilities and workers shortages.

@xypher You guess it right. For example, the liberal idealists, have forged the typical westerner archetype for example. Egoist bastard, selfish, racist, caring only about career, exploiting others etc to achieve his goals. There is no such genes as far as we know, so what is left? The ideas the whole system is built on. ;)

IF the whole world had the response of the PRC, the pandemic would have ended by summer 2020. Everybody knows it but no one dares to spell it.

@Overbom is it me or does it appear that these protesters are more than keen on using violence to achieve whatever goal(s) they have in mind and in so far have been successful in pacifying some elements of the Army. One would think that in any firefight, the Army personnel will always almost come out on tip by the virtue of their training and discipline. Yet, what I have seen so far based on a few tidbit of information coming out of twitter, the reverse seems to be the case.

The United States has an unparalleled network of elite parliamentarians, political parties, government ministers, journalists, businesspeople, journalists, think tankers and academics to do its bidding in foreign country and foreign country

Yup, that is why the UAE cancelled their F-35 contract so that they did not have to rip out their Huawei gear in their network, and then go buy those Rafales.

That is the only reason why relations between France and the United States are back on track. The French felt vindicated, that they are still a playa!
