I disagree. Russia definitely needs to step in and help quell the situation.

Arrest the instigators. Destroy any foreign influence. Stabilize the situation then allow the government time to make changes and adjustments. This should not be a Euromaidan 2.0. I believe Russia has learned her lesson with Ukraine. Russia should stay out if this was entirely organic but it's not.

This will be closer to correct. My own theory is that it has some backing in Russia. but it is far easier to create disinformation and blame on West. Country is sending too many students for its size of population.

I didnt say anything about Russia not joining

I said about China. China should stay out. And as you said, Russia should step in

The way you put it, it almost sounds like a conspiracy. If I were TSMC, I would think long and hard about my future prospect.
