I see you are still under the illusion that China can affect what the West says about it through good behaviour.

I'll just say two words: Uighur genocide.

Africa is a big continent, plenty of African nations would love to have Chinese built infrastructure. It's not China's business how they run their country.

As for having a "deterrent system", China already has laws against corruption in business. What more are you expecting?

Some people here are just either being wilfully naive or ignorant of the realities of the world. There's not a single f..ng country that is not engage in some kind of corruption but with a different label. The anglos and the anglosized Chinese are so darn arrogant to think and act that their methods aren't a form of corruption just because they love to dress up their shit with "human rights" b.s. and diversity is our strength, along with enforcing other western narrative to their business dealings.

I mean if what has some here is insisting for China to do is to commit literal economic suicide I wonder if such utter high morality horse s..t isn't applied to any western powers. I mean no one bats an eye when the U.S. and their so called human rights religion seems to contradict by doing business with K.S.A. and other "authoritarian" countries around the world which includes China with their definition.
