This list is 100% in MSS hands right now. Trump himself probably forwarded the email straight to [email protected]

Im wondering if a grand deal has already been made:

China gets:
- global primacy in tech, consumer goods
- no more US resistance to China expanding influence sphere
- control over the gulf Arabs, at the cost of letting Israel win the war on Palestine

US gets:
- Chinese tech will implicitly help Trump/Musk/associates avoid personal embarrassment
- allowed to bully it's immediate neighbors
- opportunity to build a limited local industry market (read: oligarchs kickbacks)
- annex Gaza, at the cost of handing saudis/middle Eastern oil to China.

A lot of what Trump is doing makes way more sense then. He's looking after himself and his clique's power only. If US can avoid fighting China head to head, all the chaos will benefit Trump personally, so he can build a new America in exactly the image he wants. "the last time you ever voted" indeed.

It's like the fall of the USSR back then. The federation leader has collapsed under external, internal pressure and the greed of a few elites. At the time, many Warsaw pact citizens were shocked, wanted the alliance to stay and believed in USSR victory and superiority into the last. But their opinions were irrelevant in the face of central decision from Gorbachev.

(Bloomberg) -- Tesla Inc.’s sales plummeted 59% last month in Germany, adding to indications that Chief Executive Officer’s Elon Musk political activities are hurting the carmaker’s business in major electric vehicle markets.

The US manufacturer registered only 1,277 new cars in January, its lowest monthly total since July 2021, according to the German Federal Motor Transport Authority.

Tesla lost substantial ground in an EV market that was up 54% for the month. Musk’s intervention in Germany’s upcoming federal election likely factored in the result — a poll taken in mid-January found the CEO was viewed unfavorably, and that his political interventions were unwelcome.

Let's see. Europeans hate Musk's guts. Tesla cars are no longer viewed as status symbols there, but nazimobiles. MAGA apes are definitely not gonna replace green-minded California libs as Tesla's core customer base in the US. Chinese market is now more important than ever for Tesla !

If I am China I would convey to Musk that his business interests in China might be targeted, unless he fully obeys. Musk has displayed insubordinate attitude lately. He went against Chinese interests in Latin America and has belittled DeepSeek. Time to remind him of who's the boss !
It also doesn't help that they are shit cars

Another day, another screw up, sooner or later Trump will eventually run out of people left to anger and sooner or later something will give. Lady Luck will not smile on him forever. He lost an election before due to all the screw ups of that administration, if he is not careful, the consequences will far outweigh what ever so called advantages his short term wheeling and dealing will gain

California man pleads guilty after his drone collides with aircraft fighting Palisades Fire

Acting U.S. Attorney Joseph McNally announced Friday that Peter Tripp Akemann, 56, of Culver City, California, admitted to "recklessly" operating a drone that collided with a firefighting aircraft during the Palisades Fire. (KCBS/KCAL)

A California man is facing up to one year in federal prison for recklessly operating a drone that crashed into a Super Scooper firefighting aircraft as the crew was battling the devastating Palisades Fire in California.

Peter Tripp Akemann, 56, has agreed to plead guilty to one count of unsafe operation of an unmanned aircraft.

Acting United States Attorney Joseph T. McNally announced the charges and plea agreement on Friday during a press conference with Akil Davis, the Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office.

"Flying drones during times of emergency poses an extreme threat to our firefighting personnel, who are trying to help people," McNally said during the press conference. He added that this case should serve as a warning that "if you fly a drone around wildfires, and you do so recklessly, law enforcement is going to find you, and we’re going to hold you accountable."

According to the plea agreement, on Jan. 9, Akemann drove to the top of the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, California, and flew a drone toward the Palisades Fire to see the damage. After Akemann lost sight of the drone, it collided with the Super Scooper, leaving a 3-inch-by-6-inch hole in the left wing of the aircraft.

At the time of the incident, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued flight restrictions that prohibited the flying of drones near the fires in southern California.

McNally confirmed that the crew was able to land the Super Scooper safely, but said that the aircraft was out of commission for approximately five days as the Palisades Fire raged on.

During the press conference, Davis said that there is currently "no evidence that the defendant intentionally caused this collision, however, flying drones in a restricted area could cause a catastrophe."

"Lack of common sense and ignorance of your duty as a drone pilot will not shield you from criminal charges," Davis added.

According to CalFire, as of Thursday, the Palisades Fire, which was at 95% containment after weeks of firefighting efforts, killed 12 people and destroyed more than 6,800 structures.

Akemann was expected to make his first court appearance Friday afternoon.

He is one of the original cofounders of Call of Duty franchise

He has never been lucky in terms of foreign policy.

The 100 year+ US empire is being disbanded. Eurozone will go the way of Central Asia post USSR fall, some will continue sticking with US while impoverished, others will fall to nationalism, join China/Russia, or be exploited by middle powers like Turkey. Asia will go the way of east Europe. China already lined up some soft coups in Korea and Japan.

While it's an absolute disaster for the NATO empire, it isn't bad at all for Trump personally. He can build the new USA in his own image. That's what all of these lunatic appear moves are about. Silencing domestic critics.

You don't really think Trump is gonna invade Taiwan while his health ministry is being run by an antivaxxer and he's fired most of his intel services are you? You don't make war when you have so much internal enemies.

Philippine House votes to impeach VP Sara Duterte

The House resolution charges Duterte with "violation of the constitution, betrayal of public trust, graft and corruption, and other high crimes".

Accusations spelled out in the 44-page document include an alleged Duterte plot to assassinate President Ferdinand Marcos, first lady Liza Marcos and House Speaker Martin Romualdez that has been the subject of an investigation.

"Having been filed by more than one-third of the membership of the House of Representatives, or a total of 215 members... the motion is approved," Romualdez, a Marcos cousin, told lawmakers Wednesday afternoon.

At a small rally outside the House of Representatives, student protester Darlene Cerico told AFP the impeachment represented a major victory, if an incomplete one.

"I feel so happy because this proves the power of collective action. We know there are still many things to accomplish... to fully hold Sara Duterte accountable," Cerico said.

The fate of the former president's daughter now lies in the hands of the Philippines' 24 senators, two-thirds of whom must vote for her impeachment to remove her from office and disqualify her from future public positions. A trial date has yet to be set.

Wednesday's impeachment vote follows on the heels of a trio of complaints filed in December that accused Duterte of a range of crimes including the "brazen misuse" of millions of dollars in public funds.

It also comes days before campaigning officially begins for mid-term elections, widely expected to set the table for the 2028 presidential race.

Whether 16 senators cast their vote for Duterte's impeachment could come down to President Marcos, Dennis Coronacion, chairman of the political science department at the University of Santo Tomas, told AFP.

"If (Marcos) is committed to this one, to the impeachment process... I think getting the required number of Senate votes is possible," he said.

But should the administration stay hands-off, the chances of Duterte being impeached are closer to 50-50, Coronacion said, pointing to the sitting senators' need for votes from the vice-president's stronghold of Mindanao in the coming election.

Jean Franco, assistant professor of political science at the University of the Philippines, said the coming trial represented a major opportunity for incumbent senators, who would benefit from hours of free television exposure.

"This is a political opportunity for politicians. It can make or break politicians this impeachment process," she said, adding those not already in office would be on the outside looking in.

"The game has been changed by this impeachment. All eyes are going to be on the process, so you're just going to be reacting to what's going to happen."
The relationship between Duterte and President Marcos is at a nadir, their former alliance giving way to a months-long public battle that has seen wild accusations traded, including the alleged death threat.

But Marcos had previously urged Congress not to pursue Duterte's impeachment, calling it a "storm in a teacup" that would distract the legislature from its primary responsibilities.

Marcos's executive secretary Lucas Bersamin, however, said Monday that the Office of the President would "not interfere" with the impeachment complaints.

Duterte was widely tipped to succeed her father Rodrigo as president in 2022 elections but stepped aside to back Marcos and later ran for vice president on his ticket.

But the alliance has since imploded. In November, she delivered an expletive-laden speech saying she had ordered someone to kill Marcos if she herself was assassinated.

She later denied that her comments constituted a death threat, saying she had only been expressing "consternation" with the administration's failures.

The alleged assassination threat was among the allegations included in the last of the three complaints filed against Duterte.

With her impeachment, Duterte becomes one of only four high-ranking officials to share that fate since the Philippines returned to democracy after the 20-year rule of Ferdinand Marcos Sr came to an end in 1986.

Along with a Supreme Court justice and a high-profile prosecutor, then-president Joseph Estrada was impeached in November 2000 on charges of embezzlement and taking kickbacks from illegal gambling operations.

When the Senate tribunal refused to accept key evidence, Filipinos took to the streets in a bloodless revolt, leading Estrada to step down when the military withdrew its support.

House Democrat plans articles of impeachment against Trump

Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) said Wednesday he plans to introduce articles of impeachment against President Trump after just two weeks of the new president's second term.

Why it matters: The effort is almost certain to fail, but it is the latest example of progressive Democrats trying to revive the anti-Trump resistance that helped sweep them into power during the last Trump administration.

Driving the news: In a House floor speech, Green took aim at Trump for saying at a press conference with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the U.S. will "take over the Gaza strip" and "own it."
  • "Ethnic cleansing in Gaza is not a joke, especially when it emanates from the president of the United States," Green said.
  • Green continued: "I rise to announce that the movement to impeach the president has begun. I rise to announce that I will bring articles of impeachment against the president for dastardly deeds proposed and dastardly deeds done."
Between the lines: Green is known in Congress as a bombastic and prolific speaker, and as one of Trump's most persistent Democratic critics.
  • In 2017 — long before the two successful impeachment efforts against Trump — the Texas Democrat forced a vote on impeachment that just 58 of his Democratic colleagues supported.
  • It is not clear whether he will once again force a vote or what the articles will say. His spokesperson Teque'ila Lewis told Axios he will "publish everything for everyone at the same time.
  • "They are still a work in progress," she added.
What we're hearing: Senior Democratic sources brushed off Green's efforts, casting him as a backbencher who is not in coordination with leadership.
  • One senior House Democrat, asked whether Green's articles might gain traction, told Axios: "No."
  • The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

CIA bots deployed already. Don't they have anything original, it's always this "As a Chinese person" blabla

No idea if this guy is for real or not, but elite competition in China can be absolutely savage, and it can create a lot of bitterness and resentment in some people.

A not insignificant number of well heeled and politically connected folks left Mainland China in the 2000s and 2010s not necessarily because they preferred or liked the US, Australia or Canada, but because they found themselves on the losing end of some dispute where they may be criminally liable and/or because they were concerned some skeleton from years past would be unearthed, especially after Xi started consolidating power.

It's especially easy for the children or grandchildren of former Chinese elites to justify hatred for the CCP or the PRC in general if they had a relative or close family friend dispatched to prison for one sin or another.

Gulf Arabs are creating there own empire it is called New Europe. It will be such an empire that will be ruling over 70% of Global land area. This North-South Corridor is related to it and for that reason Russia cannot attack west or create firms in public that impact Arab wealth aka Stock markets and Soft Power. but if things go down and Gold keep going up than Russia will tighten the screws and before that it is finding out the content and spirit through various events. this content and spirit has a meaning.
you can already see they line up Afghans for picture in Kazan and Russian Tatar deputy prime minister seeing that book. These are all part of empire building for the fastest growing population.
