I don't. I also look at observed reality. Why are you gauging country public sentiment on all these sub reddits where the primary language of discussion is English? The fact that users are communicating in English pretty much tells you that they're overwhelmingly either alienated diaspora kids taking up an interest in their ancestral country's politics or really well off types who received a Western education, ie. not in anyway representative at all of what the average person in Syria or Iran etc. actually believes.
The other fact is that most countries aren't China or Russia with fully independent social media environments in their own language. The only countries with their own social media are US, China, Russia, South Korea and barely, Japan (which uses Yahoo Japan, a US IP that migrated to Japanese management). That is why it is extremely easy for them to get brainwashed.
The rest all use pure US social media. Indians swarm Twitter and Vietnamese are active on Facebook. Even Taiwanese aren't on Weibo or Bilibili nearly as much as you'd think. They're the ones who are posting Chinese Facebook/YouTube.
