Battle lines are being drawn, the U.S. and the EU might get the Christmas gift they have been long wanting, I mean coal is useful in warming up freezing homes after all. Man these warmongers seriously don’t deserve to…. well exist on the same mortal coil as the rest of us to be nice

Setting side how Syrians feel. Remember how before they got humbled by Ukraine war Russians were doing everything to prevent China from investing in Central Asia -tans because they see it as their sphere of influence?

Well guess who was doing the same thing in Syria against China? I'll give you a hint: it's the same country where even to this day no one has been punished for buying exploding pagers.
Oh well, we can all sleep a little easier in that it’s going have a negligible effect on China anyhow. Still anyone celebrating now should wait and see, I mean people where literally celebrating on the streets any any kind of set back that Russia had in Ukraine no matter how stupidly small but lo and behold right now. You think this idiot pundits would’ve learn by now

Here's some samples:

Their "appreciation" for Chinese COVID aid. Every comment saying it's only for Assad, it's a shit vaccine, muh yogurts, etc.

Their "appreciation" for Chinese earthquake aid. Same story.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Syria/comments/11272av
Contrast to the reaction to Lebanon aid.

Seriously, even Indians are more humble, and that's not something I say lightly.

Going to r/Syria for what Syrians think is like going to r/China for how Chinese people think.
These are subs for Americans to talk about how much they hate Syria/China while pretending to Syrian/Chinese

Major

This is why it’s so essential in a China US war, that China must win because the Anglo zionists demonstrate that for them it’s not enough for them to win, as they did against Assad, their propaganda organs will try to destroy any notion of Chinese pride and identity as a people with a “holohoax” of bizarre blood libel.
Nobody worth one's salt takes CNN seriously anymore.

Not good.

The ruthless US regime doesn't care about the suffering of its own citizens.

the difference is, there's opposition to r/China such as: r/GenZedong, r/Sino, r/china_IRL (very imperfect), etc.

In every other case, there's opposition too: r/Iran is a shithole but they have r/Iranian, r/Russia got banned just like r/GenZedong, self haters on r/India are countered by r/GeopoliticsIndia, etc. I don't see a single opposition to r/Syria. r/Syrian is the same.

I check on topwar.ru and Russians are indeed pro-Russia, just like in qq.com and guancha.cn comments section, Chinese are indeed pro-China.

I don't see any opposition to the neolib hivemind in Syria.

Even India agrees that the loss of Syria to terrorists is bad. However, what can they do? India is closer to Syria than China is, they have even more ambition in the Middle East too, yet they did nothing either, because they couldn't.

Syria only has 23 million people, only a fraction has internet, a fraction of that speak English, and a fraction of that goes on Reddit.
User count also means Reddit has far easier time shutting down any pro-Syria sub than they have shutting down pro-China, Russia or even Iranian subs.
The fact that you even care about what an American controlled social media does is already a mistake. Reddit is brainrot echo-chamber of the worst kind and its real contribution to civilization is bringing down western society through copium OD

Well those countries are bigger and in my opinion have more educated/self-aware people in significant absolute numbers. The estimated average IQ of Syria is 75 which puts it near the bottom of the world.

So in my view its that we don't even see how the average Syrian thinks because they are not even bothered to have an internet presence. Therefore the only ones who can speak on the internet are the ones who can do it in english who are obviously going to have a western bias.

I don't even think so much as Syrians hating China. Its more that they just have no knowledge or awareness of whats really going outside in the world. They are guys from the past living in soon to be 2025. This in turn allows them to get used by places like Israel and Turkey.

For them, to be blatantly ignorant in today's modern world is basically a crime and will see you get exploited or wiped out fast. There are those who use and those who are to be used. And a lot of the world with more of them are going to be the latter.
