Despite US being a lying bully, they are probably right about Gautam Adani and various frauds he committed with the help of indian government.

It's fascinating that Jai hinds can't catch a victory when I'm literally siding with the devilish US on this.

That's how much they've lost their way
These facts being revealed to US about Adani is disadvantageous both to US and India, or at least their relationship.

But if US is bombarded with too much evidence of Adani scamming, even they can't let it slide. I mean China too would not be OK with a Russian oligarch coming into China and acting like it's his playground. Especially if it was revealed to the public.

It's unlucky for US that these facts about Adani were revealed.

The US choose to dug up the contents of their chat records in order to incriminate Adani. This wasn't an accidental finding, it was 100% deliberate. Nothing "unlucky" at all.

I meant it's unfortunate for US that so much against Adani surfaced that they couldn't ignore/censor it anymore.

Edit: I'm not even sure it was only the work of India's traditional enemies. Adani is a real piece of shit who basically acts as a modern day Sassoon. He's openly cosplaying as a British colonialist against third world countries. Wouldn't surprise me if many independent (hack)activists from the third world also straight up threw in their lot in accusing Adani as well.

He buys up third world country utilities then price gouge them.

US arrest warrant on him is just like ICC warrant on Netanyahu, they will never enforce it and the only reason they put it is to deflect blame by showing "we did something". Still it's a big W because the mere existence of a warrant makes Hindutva mad at US.

You make it seem like Adani had a good reputation in India before, then suddenly these allegations surfaced. When it's more like Adani being super corrupt was an open secret in India, but it was ignored since Modi was PM. The US (not just Hindenberg) showed its hands in a piecemeal fashion as a stick against India and Modi. The US only allowed so much evidence to "surface", the US still have lots of cards left to play on the Adani problem.

Yes Ukraine is losing and ironically just as the US thought it was a template for a fight for Taiwan, it's turned into an example of their failure to come. It'll cost too much money for the US to defend Taiwan Ukraine style. How is the US going to turn the Taiwan Strait into a hellscape for China when they have transport everything in for that to happen. They always believe China will start the war. How will they move all the assets they need before a war starts which will trigger the war before they accomplish it and Taiwan will lose.

People are attacking Elon Musk because he wants the US to concentrate on UAVs and not F-35s because of awesome Chinese drone displays. Did the F-35 help prevent a what's essentially a "commercial" toy from destroying an M1 Abrams showing the world they're not so invincible as the US advertises. China has both while Americans can only concentrate on one. It's so predictable that China's Zhuhai has Americans in panic and coping. All those arguing against Elon's remarks are making the case against how the US can make Taiwan a drone hellscape for China.

This article is quite funny.
In reference to the ammunition necessary to take down Chinese satellites (commercial and military), drone systems, bombers, and missiles:
In fact, the United States is already running low on important munitions as it tries to protect global shipping from Houthi attacks in the Red Sea.
Do we burn our entire fleet, or remain "strong" while abandoning a "mature democracy"? Abandoning couldn't possibly damage American credibility!
Analysts concerned about U.S. credibility should ask whether Japan and the Philippines would prefer a Taiwan that remains unconquered or a Seventh Fleet that remains afloat.
Hellscape!!! With America's superior manufacturing power, this should be a straightforward task!
A clear first step is to double down on filling the island with deadly defensive weapons that threaten to turn the Taiwan Strait into what Admiral Samuel Paparo, the United States’ Indo-Pacific commander, called a “hellscape.”
We will attack neutral shipping!
In a conflict, it could pivot more to threatening Chinese interests in the Indo-Pacific outside of Taiwan, as well as in the Persian Gulf. China is the world’s largest trading state, and it imports most of its oil and gas by sea.
"CCP must want to dominate entire world just like us!!!"
But if China truly wants to eclipse the United States as the world’s most dominant country, it will need to be able to coerce Japan and the Philippines and project power worldwide. It will need to control, or at least contest, the global commons. China probably believes that the absorption of Taiwan is the necessary first step.

Adani has a great reputation in India, they love their oligarchs. It's not logical why you'd love a corrupt swine, but it's how they roll.

No doubt US will try to keep covering up for their Indian friends, but ties have been frayed, possibly irrepairably so.

The reason why people on this forum hate Erdogan is because he is a two-headed snake. He says one thing, and then does another. Look to his Palestine and Russia policies as examples. I am well aware that the Turkish opposition and a majority of Turkish people are very anti-China, but at least they are truthful about it, and it saves China the time and effort of second guessing Turkey's intentions. An unreliable, treacherous "friend" can do more damage than an obvious enemy.

Turkey, like India is already a de-facto adversarial state to China. It is preferable for China to acknowledge that and just give Turkey standard relations. No special deals, and no special treatment. If they want to give shit to China, then China should give shit back. Russia should also do the same, but they have a historical tendency to keep trusting the wrong people.
Yup, also being a bit better than the other side doesn't make you not trash. Erdogan's turkey was literally the one to make up Uyghur genocide
