That's true. Atleast Iranians have managed to build inhouse missiles and very high quality drones. Arabs can't build that.

Even the UAE is built by south Asian Muslims and capital from around the world while emiratis enjoyed getting rich by selling oil.

I would argue Saudi Arabia does control an important part of finance by propping up the petro dollar. This is why they can make US dance to its tunes a bit.
