Curious, I remember watching a clip of interview of the US "ambassador" in Taipei, she was asked if Ta1wan and US are allies, she answered, no, but partners.. maybe since theres no defense treaty(?) but on the picture shown it shows Ta1wan as major non Nat0 ally? Do Isr and US have a defnse treaty?
