The satellite location adds up to the claim by man who said he saw bright lights plunged into sea. Except for the distance from the coast.

I already knew this by logic but Bob Baer, a staunch anti-China hand and former CIA agent, says he's not surprised by the time lag of the Chinese releasing these satellite images. He's say these kind of images are first stored on a hard drive before someone even looks at it and then it could take days even weeks to examine images and make a determined conclusion.

Why do you think I brought it up? People like you are going to turn this incident that has nothing to do with Chinese politics into Chinese politics. That's what I was pointing out. It's not about the missing airliner anymore. What chuck mistook as bragging was really how this incident is going to be spun.

A New Zealand man working on an oil rig claimed he saw the plane "burning at high altitude."

Here's a map comparing the two points, about 240 miles apart. Since the worker said he said the plane while it was still high above the water, it's believable that the two points are reconcilable.
