Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 is Missing

Since the identity of the 2 Iranians have just been released, China for sure is asking for a thorough background check on those 2 individuals from the Iranian government.

My take is that one those neighboring countries shot it down unintentionally hence hindering/explaining the lack of any progress. Why else can't the black box beacon be located? That'd explain the lack of distress calls.

There was NO explosion found in that area. The US has a piece of equipment that specifically detects explosions in the air. And they have found no explosin occurring in that area. Plus, a launch of missiles would be detected by the navies in the area, which is very busy with all kinds of navy and civilian ships.

100% correct this was not terrorism because many country's not only US have this equipment

Terrorism can be ruled out many people are quick to jump the gun without knowledge

Also I think maybe the aircraft crashed into a jungle somewhere? Think that is possible?

The international rules of engagement would not allow for a airliner to be shot down even in the very extreme cases

Unless it is hijacked UK had a law to shot down the a civilian airliner only of its heading to kill more civilians like 9/11

But that was to be authorised by the highest authority's and a very very last resort

What does the co-pilot showing off to some ladies has to do with competence?

Nothing. It's just the media digging up any story even remotely link to appeal to their readers. I'm not saying I condone the behavior especially on duty however if pilots smoking or cavorting with women is an offence there would be very very few pilots left in the world.

Now they are telling us the flight had changed direction towards the straits of malacca. No wonder those bozos were searching that area, finally they are telling us whyThe whole search and investigation effort is so poorly done. Who the heck running things over there? I mean they almost as bad as the Philippines.

The Malaysia military said its radar tracked MH370 to the Malacca Strait and then lost it. So, the obvious question is why Malaysian government didn't say so in the first place and coordinated S&R accordingly?

The last known position of the flight seem to be well out of range of any surface to air missiles known to have been deployed in the region. Unless the assailant had stealth it seems at fighter that shot down this flight would have also been detected by the same radars which traced the malaysian flight.

If the aircraft went down in shallow south china sea, then the accoustic conditions where the black box ended up would be very poor, and it would not surprise me if not look in the right place, none of the searchers has yet heard the pingers in the black box from afar.

Yep and they were evasive and not telling us all the relevant info. All this face saving shit is actually causing them to lose more face. No wonder all the other navies searching came up with nothing. Not to mention the other debacles that happened. And that bozo conducting the press conferences. Very unprofessional

Which information you're referring to? They can't simply release information that haven't been verified, unlike some of the news media, be that Asian or Western. The reason they're doing that is because any unverified information that turns out to be false will only make the victims' families more distressed. Even with the case of the airplane turning back, the military official can't be 100% sure of that.

They did suspect about the airplane making a turn back on the second day of the news briefing. They have already started combing the west coast even before the news briefing.

If the plane overflew strait of Malacca it probably didn't crash there. Strait of Malacca is probably the busiest sea lane in the world with the densest concentration of shipping. It seems hard to imagine either the crash or any wreckage would have remain unobserved.

A question about the capabilities of ASW aircraft like the P3C: would they be able to find the aircraft using their MAD sensors if it crashed in a shallow part of the south china sea ?
