You know Taiwan has to import like 90% of the food and pretty much all fossil fuels from outside, right?

And how long would it take for food supplies to deplete combined with harsh rationing? Pretty sure we discussed it before on the other thread that Taiwan isn’t the issue but the problem was with Western intervention. We don’t know how long Taiwan can stretch their supplies and resources to buy time for a Western intervention. Alongside the risk that the ROC military can join in and act as a human shield during that intervention.

They can last for a few months only. They will probably experience hyperinflation.

Maybe the government has strategic reserves, but what about the private sector?

They are bound to get inflation, economic slowdown and then they will surrender.

PLA will target fuel depots and power stations in the bombardment. Can't transport food around the island. No electricity nor natural gas to cook the food. No clean water. No garbage collection.

Are we talking about a blockade combined with PLA attacks or just a blockade without PLA attacks?

I was under the assumption we are talking about a blockade with no offensive military actions.

But China can’t support Russia?
Limitation in sending "branded" stuff like Polonez-M, DF series, GJ-2 etc is entirely because as long as Putin aren't losing, he ain't gonna want Chinese artillery and drones to lead the charge, because its gonna look shit for his country.

As for unbranded stuff like what Russia needs to build more missiles, suicide drones, nvg and plates for their troops, Russia already receives from China what they need to support their scale of operation.
