How do PLAN provide supplies to the base in a war with the US and its vassals?
Huh? it just Kuril Islands. Not even a remote place like Djibouti. And it is Russian's territory. Compared to Djibouti, reaching Kuril is way more easier to China. Specially because Russia is China's ally.

If US attacks mainland China, and 'devastate' mainland China, what do you think the 1000 nukes(estimated) are for? The moment US even dare drop a boot on Chinese mainland soil, the war changes to a world war. If the war is confined to Taiwan which is what will most probably happen, China will win. Don't forget Russia will nuke US if China gets nuked, and China will nuke US if Russia gets nuke. It is just common sense, and UK and France will also nuke Russia and China. Then my friend, we will be back to stone age, if India decides to join the fun, Pakistan will also join, the whole world gets nuked. Lolol
The problem is, those nukes need to cross heavily protected Japan's airspace in order to reach US. In order to reach US mainland, you have destroy Japan first. It is different if it's Russia. Because their nukes are easier to reach US mainland than China's nukes.

That's why I said that in my previous post, in an event of such war, Japan and Philippine will be devastated. But China will also broken. At least their coastal islands will be affected. It won't be able to reach Beijing. But what about Shanghai, Shenzhen, etc? China will survive, but their economy prowess will be dropped significantly.

So I'm thinking. If China can increase their presence to another area, like maybe Eastern side of North Korea coast and Kuril Islands, it will change the situation around East Asia greatly. Specially the situation with Japan.

I agree it does not have equal parity within 1st IC.. We are talking maybe 20% of US naval power and maybe 10% airpower vs 90+% of both PLAN PLAAF etc..
However the original question posited a total conventional war between the two nations which means everything is at play sans nukes.
Of course I agree that within the scope of a limited conflict such as within the 1st IC or even the Taiwan issue, the US forces would face enormous challenges fighting PLAN on thier own backyard!
Your scenario doesn't make sense. Total conventional war between the US and China... but not over Taiwan. What would they be fighting for and where? Are they trying to invade each other by sending ships across the Pacific?!? If it came to that, it would be nuclear warfare to destroy your enemy in its entirety. If it were conventional, it would be over Taiwan. There's no scenario in which the parameters you set, all out conventional warfare, no nukes, even make sense. I think you're treating this like some game simulation without taking international politics or realistic events into consideration at all. There's a Youtube Channel that does that; they post videos like, "400 Spartans vs 40 Yautja Predators (melee only)" or "20 modern marines vs 250 Civil War riflemen."

And I think most people disagree with you because they're assuming (especially since you are in a thread about a Taiwan conflict) you were referring to an escalated war over Taiwan. Very few people believe that China would beat the US in a randomly started, no specific objective or location, no nukes, all out conventional war. This imaginary scenario is as favorable as it gets for the US.
