After one proven list of fake names supported by a scary number of senior Indian representatives of government, media, and military, they have now provided an amended new list after the first one was debunked as a list of PLA generals from the 50s. Combine the lies about prisoners, lies about PLA casualties, lies about PLA fatalities, lies about PLA positions, lies about PLA retreat, lies about whether IA had weapons, and all the flip flopping on these points, it's like the boy who cried wolf 20 times and still expects people to give it any serious attention. Why are Indians so lowly? Never expected this.

Meanwhile CCP has been rather magnanimous with the simple statement that fighting had ensued and some damages were done to both sides. Nice and broad statement with no detail. Unfortunately for sore Indians with narrow minds, CCP's reluctance for transparency is hiding PLA losses as opposed to the reality, taking claims quietly and incredibly successfully with minimal if any loss. How angry will the Indians be if they knew dozens of IA were killed with over a hundred captured or injured and at least three claim points taken by China already with more fronts being taken. Certainly it wouldn't just be 60% unsatisfied with the BJP, if the CCP released the reality of little or no PLA fatalities and injuries with hundreds of square kilometers being captured, the dissatisfaction will be over 90%... Indian delusions and denial notwithstanding.

They don't get that CCP wants to avoid any shooting war if possible even if they'll win so convincingly that India military refuses to even consider this. War is still costly regardless and attracts all the wrong sort of western attention. Luckily Indian military and leaders are incompetent and spineless. Personally I consider a war to be a good opportunity to show resolve and strength. There's a real chance the CCP is pushing non-stop until the Indians decide to take some kinetic action and won't stop settling claims in China's favour until Modi shoots. Hopefully this is exactly what is planned. If only Modi and his generals can find some backbone and courage to stop the trashtalking and start some shooting. In the meantime, all disputed claims are up for grabs.
The Indians who are pushing for war likely have no knowledge of how war actually works and subscribers to the "rule of cool" when it comes to military equipment. A big thing right now is their ego, hypnationalist ego can never be bruised at all, any slight is a gaping wound. I've realized there are some race undertones to all this as well, with Indians thinking themselves superior to Chinese or east Asians, considering Northern Indians are usually treated with contempt. There's also this weird thing where they attack Chinese based on English fluency. It hurts their ego more that these people might have actually pulled ahead and hurt them and can win a real fight. China shouldn't be getting into a shooting war unless India shoots first, and if the hypernationalist has their way, it might end up that way.

Fair enough, I should clarify as I lobbed Indian and western media together in my comment. What I mean is that Western and Indian media will highlight other people’s issues whilst ignoring their own, China is guilty too, don’t get me wrong.

This is normal but the problem is the wild mis-representation, sensationalising, exaggerating and outright lies. The western media does it, the Indian media does it but on a totally different level, the Chinese also does it to some extent, not saying they don’t, but usually, I notice its far closer to the truth.

I mean Indian media entertained the idea that locust can be trained as terrorist by Pakistan. I am not sure what else to say.
The goals are different though. When China does it, it's trying to downplay the severity of it's actions, while for the US and other aligned countries it's grooming their people for a conflict through dehumanizing China/Chinese and implying "we must do something about this"(aka conflict). This has always been the first bell to be rung when the US wants a war with someone, put up a victim and how hard they have it, and then put up the victimizer and how they must be destroyed for x moral reason. It's why the US tolerates the mistreatment of Palestinians, but care so much about Uighurs all of a sudden.

I've been listening to some Indian loving western academics like Christine Fair and noticing how one sided her political views are. Truly militant liberal mentality. Anything right wing is evil (unless it's Indian Fascism).

I've noticed her views have changed over the past year, ever since the IAF's encounter with the PAF. She openly said that it was a disaster for the IAF, and that India's image was seriously damaged, by taking a beating from Pakistan. That's when her Indian fanboys turned against her. I guess that woke her up a little bit. She's been very critical of Hindu fascists since then. There's even a tweet where she half-defended Pakistan recently, which was shocking. Now, she's even making fun of Modi over Ladakh. Mostly, she has been busy criticizing her own side (Trump.)

I respect that. I still disagree with her worldview, but it shows a warrior spirit. That's more than I can say for these nihilistic pro-Modi bakhts, who are mere sheep pretending to be wolves. All their arrogance is emotional insecurity masquerading as pride.

People at indian defence forum says they will lease F22’s as alternative to US occupation.

Well, India has had a track record of somehow making effective machineries unusable. When powerful and well-tested weapons go to India, they stop working or get blown up in their warehouses and home ports... So even if they manage to somehow convince the US to lease F-22's and nuclear subs, the US might as well expect these weapons to never come back intact... So instead of the leasing prices, the US should charge the Indians the full prices of the weapons, plus fees to compensate the emotional distress of seeing their favorite toys getting blown up while sitting in their warehouses, .

Yes I guess the nature is different, if we are objective about this then I would say:

The western media’s sensationalism and/or exaggerations tends to be used for attack, if you will, to gain sympathy from their electorates and then the gov can justify their foreign actions, tho how much of it, is direct gov induced and how much is simply creating story for ratings is debatable. Domestic sensationalism is more for ratings or pure political bias. Can’t say for European media but I think this should apply for English speaking media.

Whilst China’s tends more for the strategy of convenient omissions and sensationalise success internally, more of distraction or mis-direction for the domestic audience and just plain dry reporting for the majority of foreign affairs, sometimes with some opinion given for some flavour.
