And also isn't properly clothing and sheltering your soldiers the bare minimum for any military?

Having clothes and not freezing to death in the winter is the bare basic minimum for any army. Why are you praising that as if it's noteworthy unless it is then which case that says more about your military than China's.

Indian Accomplishment: Nobody froze to death due to governmental incompetence this time.

Let me tell you something: no other military would make such a sad statement. That's like the owner announcing that his restaurant hasn't killed anyone from food poisoning yet during this catering event... halfway through the meal.

To be fair, he probably thinks it's an accomplishment because Indian media has made him to believe over a million Chinese soldiers have died due to cold weather.

It looks like PLA got a new commander for western theater command.

Does this mean US should accept Chinese supremacy in the SCS? Nvm that actually credible.

Extremely ironic considering the Chinese completely clapped the Indians in freezing cold weather during the 1962 war. Did the Indians forget that Chinese troops have fought in very cold climates for generations? The Korean War, the northern front of the Chinese Civil War and the Second Sino-Japanese War were frequently fought in freezing cold climates. Meanwhile, the most experience the Indians have is fighting in the Siachen, where they lost over 1000 soldiers dead due to climate related complications. Just a couple weeks ago, an Indian soldier froze to death in Kashmir ... for soldiers in a professional military these days to freeze to death in peacetime is unheard of. Now you know what type of crappy logistics lead to dozens of Indian soldiers freezing to death at Galwan.
