That's the first casualty of any war - the truth. Nobody knows what is the truth.
This is compounded that we are not anymore in Information Age where supposedly it should enlighten us more.
We are now living in the Misinformation Age where everything is fake until thoroughly proven not fake.
So we have to pick which ones are true and which ones are false.

Given the complete silence in the Indian media it would appear everything is going quite well for the Chinese side. I wouldn't be surprised if the IA got completely smacked for trying to fire at the PLA ... the WTC said "necessary countermeasures" were taken; we can start to think of what exact countermeasures these might entail given the forceful statement :D . Even the Indian government is in a complete frenzy over this ... they took an entire day to get one out and ended up ripping off their statement by simply stating the opposite of what the Chinese side.

China never rushes to spam details, so this is pretty much business as normal from the Chinese side.

That coupled with the deafening silence on the Indian side would very much suggest the Indians got kurbstomped, and are struggling to find a way to spin liquified Indian troop as some sort of a win.

As per the post from before, Indian trolls operate per these rules, which forbid them from post bad news, in which case they are suppose to just toe the party line. Since the Indian government itself hasn’t decided how to spin this, the trolls are directionless.

Just few minutes ago, China's CCTV 4 Eight o'clock news reported twice, once in the middle of news broadcasting, and again at the end of the news, that Indian soldiers crossed the LAC and fired their gun, and PLA soldiers took appropriate counter measure in return. No other details given.
