The BJP are not shrewd politicians it seems. This move if even true is such a blunder. It's foolish to show your intentions this clearly while failing to deliver momentum for the move to have any impact. If they are genuine in countering China properly, don't send one measly ship. They should actually sign up with Quad and conduct exercises near SCS waters and have a bigger naval presence. This move just shows Beijing it needs to be violently clear in its resolve but it's done with such little commitment, there is no tangible impact or military weight. What are they thinking?? I've never witnessed such poor political performance. The Indians invented chess ffs! lol
As incompetent in fighting these struggles as Beijing is these days, BJP really take it to the next level. So much faltering and hesitation displayed by both this year.

Fine. If India wanna play this game of intimidation. China can make the 'String Of Pearls' a reality starting today. Establish a chain of allied stop overs in the Indian Ocean. Deploy naval assets and drones in the Andaman Sea and Arabian Sea. Then conduct joint operations with Pakistan to monitor Indian shipping going across the Arabian Sea and Andaman Sea. Send some SSNs and SSBNs into the Indian Ocean. Let them know that China can play this game too.
There's no need to make such a big deal over one ship. Just you know, harass it day and night and it will go home from exhaustion.
