Indian media claims the 1st reason for not joining is because they are afraid of their soldiers picking up covid 19. 2nd reason is off course: China. They claim that it cannot be 'business as usual'.
First of all. Covid-19? What? The other participants don't seem to have that problem. Especially Russia and Pakistan who both are still fighting serious outbreaks.
Second, about no more business as usual with China. This is hilarious. As one forum member pointed out. Armenia and Azerbaijan are still coming, even with all the border disputes going on between them. This is India snubbing their good old friend: Russia. Insulting Russia's Covid-19 containment efforts, and insulting Russia for trying to give equal treatment to friends.I wonder how Russia is going to take this?
This is BJP India childishness at its best. When trade, dialogue, and exchanges stop, a path to war is created. So what's next? Pulling out of Tokyo Olympics 2021 because China is a participant? Pulling out of SCO? Expelling Chinese diplomats? How much more stupid could they get?

10) Snub Russia's invitation for military exercise because they had the cheek to invite China.
