Compare it to recent satellite images.
LAC clearly marked in red. No evidence has been presented otherwise.

As a bonus, the article even explains why the Indian MOD considers the region as a whole a problem.

.
An article made on June, 2020.
About Claim lines. The same thing you allege Ajai Shukla can be alleged about this source too.

Where are the patrol Points and LAC.
Any maps showing the same from the past?

That's how it is outside of India. In India, only the Johnson line is used.
Ofcourse, because Indian government wouldn't want its citizens to use a map that shows territory taken up by China.

You get the point. Now you must ensure you don't lose it later.

Google gets to be ambiguous. It's a safe this way.

That is why I asked you to compare it to the recent satellite imagery by detresfa and other sources. It matches perfectly. There are multiple sources corroborating the above map, yet nothing corroborating Shukla's drawing. LAC is the red line. Patrol points are west of it

So basically the tiny notch shown by arrow and indicated by red dot in second map below is the issue at Gogra correct?

And now so what?? What is this supposed to say or mean apart from PLA probably has taken some position here? We know Gogra is a point of contention and no disengagement - which means there is engagement of forces lol.

What's news about this except the indicated point might be where it is happening?

Remember, we were talking about Patrol Points for the past few weeks.

Suddenly, in the merry go round we had yesterday, you realized that PP19 as shown by Ajai Shukla weren't on the place you pointed in the map.

Now, you are insisting that the entirety of Ajai Shukla's map is wrong.

I'm merely asking, for the sake of the thread being readable, to point out Patrol Points and LAC. Not CLAIM LINES.

That'll give me an idea about your version regarding Patrol Points. I made my arguments regarding Buffer Zones and such based on Patrol Points and LAC as given by Ajai Shukla.

Because there are no other sources discussing Patrol Point 19, 20 etc.

Shukla backs up his map with some detailed write up.

I already said the patrol points are west of the red line in the map previously posted. You still have not presented evidence the red line is not the lac. And you were the one who started the debate on the exact location of patrol points. I simply used Shukla's map for the sake of discussion. I was discussing satellite imagery.

I will repeat again, the red line is the lac. Multiple images corroborate it. Nothing corroborates Shukla's claim

Nothing is new about this. As I said, the situation in Gogra Hot Springs is quite clear.
