There is a buffer zone including pp19(and there is not, since disengagement is not complete) that must mean the buffer zone includes Chinese territory between pp19 and the pla post. You still ahve not presented any evidence against that.
Yeah, maybe few meters? This is so funny.

The PLA posts and PP19 aren't kilometers away, just meters. If you include Chinese armored columns, then it's way less.

Detresfa clearly measured 15km between Gogra post and China's post. Now please observe where Gogra is relative to the lac. The image you posted created by Ajai Shukla shows pp19 as just behind the indian claim line(1962 lac) so that is what I am going on

Gogra post, posted again for your convenience.
Subject : GOGRA (PP17A to PP19)

Enlighten us confused members by preparing a map taking satellite images of Detresfa and your knowledge about where PP19, PP17A, PP18, PP20 lies.

You seem to insist that these patrol points are somewhere different.

Detresfa's image clearly shows it is 15km from Indian gogra post, and by extension over 6 k m from pp19. It is clear you have no idea where Gogra and the PLa post actually are.

Once again, already been posted ages ago, but here it is again

Yes. China's camp is on China's side of LAC (however one interprets LAC that's within general consensus). And what? You're saying China lost land LOLOLOLOLOL

Explain what China lost.

@twineedle... how does showing a satellite image of China's camp right on the border of territory they won after winning 1962 war, show that China lost land??

It only shows China has a major military position right on the edge of land it won in the past and sitting right on land that India claims.

May I remind you that India claims the dotted stretch in between? On which this PLA camp is right on the western side edge?

Once again, you still have not showed evidence of the "armored columns" supposedly meters away from pp19. Or for that matter, any evidence of a buffer zone including Indian territory.

I am simply countering xsizor's assertion that there is a buffer zone excusively on India's side of the lac. Everything I have said is going by his logic, not mine. Even if there is a buffer zone according to him*which I have argued against) that must mean that buffer zone includes parts of Chinese territory, since the nearest Chinese base is over 6 km away.

This is where Gogra base camp is located

Observe where taht is relative to the lac and notice where the Indian road goes.
Yes. And this is what I've marked.

The issue now seems to be about location of Patrol Points, specifically pp19.

Make a map for Patrol Points that you think are right.

Frankly I'm surprised China even has a permanent base within this stretch seeing as it's disputed land.

Yeah, I'm surprised too. It's too close. But then they have, reportedly, Artillery support from the hills just behind.

The Gogra post would be in sight of the Artillery.

I am going by what Ajai Shukla uses, since that is the source of the map you have used.
