Dug up stuff from Jun 23 2020.

Was he one of those killed in the Galwan clash specifically?

China released the names and publicized the contributions way later (few months ago). That twitter post has been tagged to Global times and the editor so they'd have known about it in Jun, 2020 itself.

If hiding was their intention, they'd have included his name in the final release made later.

The fact that he wasn't then would only mean that he wasn't a direct casualty of the fight.

But then again, let's give some merit - one down 40 more to go.
China released names of only those dead who recieved gallantry or other awards.
This guy did not recieve any award so they did not bother releasing his name in Feb 2021 PR.

The US commander wasn't talking about any specific area. Read his comment again
US commander mentioned initial clash pounts and the only initial clash points that are left to be disengaged are Gogra, Hot Springs and Demchok.
Raksha Mantri’s statement also made clear that there are outstanding problems to be addressed, including at Hot Springs, Gogra and Depsang.

Although he did not mention them by name it is obvious he was talking about them as they are the only clash points yet to be resolved. Two other clash points Galwan and Pangong already resolved incl. Pangong south

Point being?

And why didn't he receive the award? Any reasons for it?
Did he directly take part in the Galwan clash?

China has consistently claimed "Single Digit Casualties". You haven't proved them wrong even though you cité a twitter post from June 23,2020.

It contradict with the Indian report cited above. The only solid reasoning would be that initial disengagement has been done but no further progress has been made.

Its quite straightforward.

Indian Army spokespaerson issued a statement on his death on the very day he died.
Why did PLA spokesperson never find the guts to announce death of this soldier (whatever the cause)?
It doesn't take guts to divulge the death of a soldier; it takes clearance. And regarding the 4 who died, the spokesperson did not have the clearance to tell the public at first because at the time, if the Chinese public knew of India's cowardly and cruel ambush on unarmed negotiators, they would clamor for a repeat of 1962... at an important time in the China vs USA rivalry. And the CCP decided that that was not the right time.

Why did Indians never find the guts to tell the truth about how they were really beaten but instead made up stories about being unarmed, outnumbered, and ambushed by the PLA only to be proven liars by video evidence?

Its telling that they don't release video or image evidences of the clash but the Chinese does. The more confident side would be the first to do so but apparently PLA is not confident and lies a lot.
Its ironical. In a world that means India = truth/openness, there would be lots of media content released. That's not the case.

The only significant media exposure from India were during the withdrawal disengagement (where the PLA showcased their quick mobilization capabilities).

So a "blog post" is a credible source?

If we apply the same logic India tried to cover up over 200 dead Jawans.

1) The individual in question was a councilor in Ladakh, so he is actually close to the flashpoint unlike US or Russian intelligence.

2) He was booked by police for talking about the incident on a private call, not Twitter or blog post.

See. I can play this game too.
