Not even that, think about what if ARM and AShM are lauched in concert? If you turn on your radar, you're scewed, if you turn off your rader, you're scewed, therefore, you're screwed
I suggest you stop quoting those unprofessional forum comment. CM-400 missile is an export product. There is only much to make up. Because end of the day, true data can be easily reveal once its exported. What the designer has mention about the specification is most likely true and not far from it. Would you rather believe those Indian words or the designer comments?
I saw the comment of the moderator for the Indian forum. He is acting like a kid and totally unprofessional and you are taking his words for real or even reference?

But I do still occasionally go to Bharat Rakshak, and when I do, I never fail to get a mental image of ...a bunch of mentals gathering there, oblivious to reality, induldging in mental circle-jerking year after year after year...
I tend to see CM-400 as a land attack optimized of an surface to air missile, thus the speed but at the expense of trajectory and payload.
Standard Missiles has been used in land attack before, with SM-6 at mach 3.5 with range of 240 km at only 1.5 tons. CM-400 has nearly twice the weight, so the specs is believable. But this methodology must have its limitation, else all navies of the world would carries monster modified SAMs for anti-surface operations. Considering the Iranian corvette Joshan took 3 standards without sinking immediately, though it did eventually sink.

Bharat forum is Indian forum and I find it not very objective. It is more about emotional feelings then real based on facts. The 400AKG is in line with Pakistani policy. Asymmetric warfare to stop a much bigger opponent. Whether it will be able to produce it? I have no doubts that China delivers it. China is continuously shocking others with unbelievable high tech weapons. Whether this one will change the theater. I think so. Would you risk your vessels? And even if it does not destroy it by one hit... What do you want to do with a crippled vessel? And, hitting an aircraft carrier from above is not impossible. We all know how agile aircraft carriers are. And the size of it... How could one miss the deck? And yes, there is no stealth factor issue from above. And it pretty much impossible to stop something like this with your long/short range defense equipment. So is it a good weapon? Just like Babur, Ra'ad it will have asymmetric impact on the results...
