Firstly Pakistan does not operate J7 its F7PG so you got that one wrong

that sums up pretty much how much you know about the project...……nothing

Know anything about F16? Let me enlighten you, the order was for 77 F16 fully paid by Pakistan, requested from Pakistan from America, after improvements and evaluations of JF17 between 2003-2007 this figure was eventaully reduced to just 36 units and then finally cut again to just 18 F16 C/D all of which have been delivered

The gap was filled by JF17, and Mirage have just received a upgrade for aerial refuelling and integration with AWACS they will serve for many years to come

And by your logic if JF17 replaces F7PG it means JF17 is same class as aircraft it's replacing? So Turkey is replacing its F4 and F5 with F35 JSF that means they are both the same class! You make no sense what so ever please try and read before making posts

the author of the video makes a number of unsubstantiated claims regarding the performance of jf-17 and its systems in comparison to other platforms. don't know if i regard that as "information". unless, of course, the information you're referring to is the basis of the underlying competetivity of his/her text.

i think the music makes the point best. supposedly a video from a pakistani viewpoint which uses half-assed rock and roll to attempt some semblance of top-gunnery.

wow, someone's panties are showing, real bad!

LERX, FBW, DSI , HOTAS, HUD and databus MTL-1553 all these can't be fakes.. He may have added in some of his opinion but the system he mention surely shown this guy done his homeworks...

i didn't, i think, argue that the technical information was fake, did i?

but his conclusions in comparison to other platforms were based on what?

and, i understand that the Jf-17 is an excellent package of contemporary technology.

nevertheless, simply observing its price reveals much about its place in any hierarchy, don't you think?

I think those system mention already tells you what hierarchy it places, price has nothing to do with it.

I give an example of watches.. I have seen a China made watches cost $100 bucks and a swiss made Rolex watch for $5000. The Rolex watch might be better but the Chinese watch definitely is not 50 times inferior than the Rolex. Simply, some of the western stuff is overpaid and overprice for its function.

i wasn't referring to its price in comparison to western platforms. that's either an incorrect assumption, or an attempt to introduce an irrelevant argument, on your part.

consider its price in comparison to the j-10, an intra-national, and, more specifically, an intra-organizational
comparison. does chengdu have a differential pricing schedule?

Subedei, just saying some of the info on the JF-17 is inaccurate is not enough. You have to provide the proof, too.
