you will be amazed how many CGI of all types exist, this just happen to be the one i picked, if i start with them i might fill this entire thread :D

As far as rumors go, the Block II will be ordered from China, which means that Kamra still has time to finish off production of Block I before moving on to Block II. It makes no difference if Kamra hasn't finished its initial order yet. According to some rumors the JF-17 Block II has already flew.

this is incorrect, i think you maybe influenced by the news that came out in May 2011 that China will provide 50 JF17 on "emergency" basis to Pakistan, that is a fine example of how media like to distort facts

I doubt even Lockheed Martain could produce 50 F16s in a year and have them all delivered, and China hasnt even set up a full scale production line for JF17 anyway

that "emergency" order is actually the next order for 50 more JF17 Thunders Block II to be built at Kamra, the test flight of the Block II may well indeed happen in China

No, I saw a timeline that was officially released. It clearly said that the Block II will be produced starting in mid 2012.

No... JF-17 does not fit China defense doctrine..

There is a reason why J-7 start to retired so quickly instead of J-8II and SU-27 is choosen by PLAAF instead of Mig-29.

Can any of you gentlemen shed any light/share information regarding future stealth capabilities or plans of JF-17/Pakistan?
Because in my opinion next conventional war would be based on PAK-FA acquisition of INDIA. Anybody remember that right after the 1998 testings, Indians started to threat Pakistan openly. This is what I believe India would do as soon as they would have couple of squadrons of PAK-FA. The future wars would be more depending upon Air Superiority as compare to the past wars, and I think PAF (as much as I love them) is falling way behind. Any thoughts including defending against PAK-FA and MKIs.

I fear with the induction of PAK-FA into IAF our strategic assets would be very vulnerable. Every other country (likes of Turkey etc) is very actively pursuing stealth combat air crafts program. We need to have a genuine stealth capability manufactured indigenously.
Hopefully I am not violating any forum rules by asking this question.
