It depends on if the inner petals are contracted or expanded. The inner petals are two pieces while the outer petals are one piece.

Now I have re-read what I wrote, I need to make a clarification. What I meant to convey was that the nozzle assemblies on the J-XY appear longer than the prototype WS-19's nozzle assembly, at least proportionally. Also note that the inner petals on the J-XY appear to be expanded to roughly the same degree as those on the WS-19 prototype.

Hard to say because the image of the engine in the factory is at an angle, which compresses length.

12 petals it seems. If you look at the connection between the nozzles and the engine proper, it looks like it is designed for 3D TVC to me anyway.

That's a screen capture of an animation showing 3D thrust-vectoring tech at 2018 Zhuhai Airshow. I don't think it has anything to do with WS-19.

P.S. Ignore the fanboy video title, as it's not actually related to WS-15.

Zoom in on the engine nozzles of the above photo. I've noticed that the nozzles are different from that of any other Chinese engine we've seen so far with the exception of this:

In fact, the nozzle edges (specifically the serrations) and the internal "ring" closely match that of the above alleged WS-19. We also know that the WS-13 is supposedly very similar to the RD-93 to the point of the two being indistinguishable, so we can probably rule out the WS-13.

That means that there is a probability of the J-35 using WS-19 engines in its current form.

To be fair, it's the other way around: JSF was specified to carry 2 2000 lb-class weapons.
It wasn't a design advantage. It was a design aim - you either fulfill it, or your design goes to the scrapyard.
For example, Sukhoi S-75 (also a single-engine fighter design) plays its cards in a completely different way.

J-XY(and FC-31) were never specified to do that, and have a "normal" 5th gen bay(but fitting into it a 2000-lb capable bay was certainly possible - for a corresponding price in performance/size)

Judging from the new photo that just came out, the J-35 could even have trouble fitting in 1000-lb class weapons. Looks like it is slated to become a mini-F-22 from a weapons perspective...all air-to-air with an emergency A2G capability if absolutely required.
