First Off Topic, but all our thoughts and prayers are with you and the French People, and indeed all Europeans who are facing the same "hateful actions" of the "haters":
Equation, Mr. Forbin is among the most honest and fair-minded gentlemen on this forum, and almost completely without bias?? He was simply relating that the Russians had issues with the SU-35, as well as PAK-FA, and we in the US had many similar issues with the F-35. So it is within the realm of possibility that the Chinese are having some issues that may be delaying the J-20??? NO?????
The problem for Su-35S is not an engine problem and just an example.
Even if J-20 program worck possible but no sure China as all countries have also problems normal but it remains unknown ...
For engines i don' t understand you ? ofc they have and big problems for Chines engines since always or you live in one other planet
After not being too indoctrinated ...
You can' t be a reliable member for say it i don't think Chinese still use bows and arrowsChina is 3rd world country
Given the way we all wait for images and news on J20 and FC31. It's likely that any issues the PRC aviation has had have been kept from leaking. They have a very strict security apparatus in place with controlled leaks to keep the fans happy. Unlike the US DOD and Lockheed Martin who has to keep the Press in the loop.So it is within the realm of possibility that the Chinese are having some issues that may be delaying the J-20??? NO?????
It's fair to say that China is a developing country, but there are numerous places on the coast which are at or approaching the wealth and technology capability levels of Europe and East Asia.
The Chinese interior is way poorer and more backward, but it is now catching up

They are very many but many are poor 70th in the world, for each people 8000$/year in Europe with 1000 $/month you are considered poor.
But a huge difference in 20 years everyone on bicycle or rickshaw
But they build cheaper ... haha
One need also to consider purchasing power parity. The cost of living in developing countries can be about 3 to 5 times less than in developed countries.
So USD$1000/month is not that small an amount of money in some emerging countries that could buy local goods and services equivalent to $3000 to say $4000 of that in developed countries.
