If indeed the PLAAF and/or CCP are releasing official photos like this...that may measn they are gearing up for something special.

The photo was scanned from an official magazine.

Official magazine may also post PSed photos as their main concentrate is the content of the article, not the photo. Sometime, they don't have the needed photo, they just post some replacement photo. For example, if an article talk about Su-30MKK in combat, but they don't have that photo so they just post a photo of a Su-30MKK in training.

Unfortunately colour can be modified due to the type of camera being used or the particular smoggy ness of the day.
So if you are using colour to say it is PSed, you're off mark.



Dude, there is a difference between using a freaking filter or over exposure, and actually PSing something. That is like arguing black and white photos of 2011 are "somewhat photo shopped". Basically it is a redundant statement, because the word photo shop around these parts suggest it was some intentional modification to the plane or ship in question, to show something that isn't there.

By the way, I wouldn't be so quick to take A man at his word. I doubt that picture is an "official photo," and even if it were, that actually doesn't mean anything




That just shows you haven't been following the J-20 2011 bird very long.

Both sides of the right tail have those strange little patches, while the left tail only has some on its inner side.



If you're going to accuse something of a PS you typically need more solid evidence than that. And remember, most people here hate PSes, so they'll typically be the first to call it out.

Hey, chill a little bltizo, those pics look a little jazzed to me too, not that I care, its not a big deal to do a little shading and enhancing, I like it, I'd much rather see a photo that's been a little teased, than to see that grainy, textured, fuzzy detail stuff, we're all here to check out the J-20, and we all have some opinions, that's all, and yours are most often some of the most honest and accurate, that "official photo, is now my new screensaver, its sharp!
