Do not give up on that yet, my friend.

That can still easily occur when they put the final engines into it for which it has been really designed to operate with.

We are still looking at a prototype IMHO, and not the actual production, or even initial production test articles.

It's a shame that the closest we've gotten to seeing the J-20 flying wheels up so far is that last pic in Deino's post where the flowers hide the landing gear.
