For comparisons sake here's a Super Hornet's stats;
I'm not to argue but just feeling strange; since the J-15/Su-33 is huge aircraft but only to have internal fuel capacity of about 9,500 kg. The specs you posted above the F-18 Super Hornet has internal fuel of 18,840 lbs which translated into 8,500 kg+. Since F-18 is a much smaller aircraft, how can it carry so much fuel internally? Further, I always see photos of F-18 carrying up to 4 external tanks. If it is to have so much internal fuel, why bother to carry so many external tanks?
