Nice one ...
Indeed.

very nice to see 555 and 556 flying in formation like this.

So, as I did with the PLAN Airwing thread, let's add more J-15 Eye Candy for the J-15 Flying Shark Strike Fighter.

Here are pictures of the various J-15 aircraft we have seen so far:

We know that there are now at least ten J-15s flying...if not more. I look forward to the day, soon, when we see first four, then six or eight, and ultimnately a full squadron of twelve J-15s operating off of the Liaoning.

Those are great photos.^^^

Question how much fuel can she carry? And how much of a load can she launch with from CV-16?

Can she do this? Don't think so without a catapult.

Actually, I'm still waiting for the appearance of the AESA-equipped J-15B, after which all J-15 units will be retrofitted with the J-16's powerful AESA radar and finally bring its performance up to that of the F/A-18E Super Hornet. Rumors are that it will make a debut in 2014 and the retrofit will be done by 2015-2016.

Do you mean electronic ability? Where did you get this information? thanks.

I never thought the aerodynamic ability of Flankers when compared to Super Hornets was ever in doubt.

To me performance from the flight deck is what counts with naval aircraft. We know what a Super Hornet can do. Endurance, speed payload etc. IMO we have only "Guesstimates" what a J-15 can do.
