I suspect the J-10 probably has a slight advantage over the Rafale.
Rafale, Active Cancellation. Unknown (to me) if this system is practical. Always thought of it as a marketing gimmick with no usable functionality.

Rafale twin engine + lack of DSI may result in higher RCS than J-10.

Rafale has S-duct and sawtooth patterns on the fuselage though. I think it is debatable which one is smaller clean.

Personally, it seems meaningless to consider RCS for a fighter without a built-in magazine. According to Cheng Fei's paper, the RCS of a combat missile plus a pylon is around 0.5 square meters, so the RCS of the missile carried in air combat can be said to basically offset the airframe Design efforts to reduce RCS

…This prompted PLAAF to switch to air-cooled AESA for J-10A.

But do we have any evidence on a fleetwide upgrade to lets say J-10AG standard? AFAIK we have only a single image of one aircraft and not even a certain detail - like a grey radome - to differ between A and AG.
